First Impressions
Walking up to Stylish 2-Bedroom North London Apartment with Private Yard on Lordship Lane, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect — but this place surprised me in the best way. The building itself looks pretty unassuming from the street, but once you step inside, you get why they called it “stylish.” It’s one of those four-star places where someone actually put thought into the design instead of just throwing together generic furniture.
The Space & Layout
The apartment feels way more spacious than you’d expect for London, and that private yard? It’s a genuine game-changer, especially if you’re traveling with kids or just need somewhere to decompress after walking around the city all day. Both bedrooms are properly sized — I mean, you can actually walk around the bed without doing some weird sideways shuffle. The main living area flows nicely into the kitchen, which is fully kitted out with everything you’d need if you want to cook instead of eating out every meal.
Location & Getting Around
North London gets a bit of a bad rap sometimes, but honestly, this area works really well for visitors. You’re about a 15-minute walk to Wood Green tube station, which puts you on the Piccadilly line — that’s your direct route to central London attractions without any fussing about with transfers. The neighborhood itself has that proper London residential feel, with local pubs and shops that tourists rarely stumble upon.
What Makes It Work
Here’s the thing about staying in an apartment versus a hotel room — you actually get to live like a local for a few days. There’s space to spread out your stuff, do some laundry, maybe grab groceries from the nearby Sainsbury’s and have breakfast at your own pace. The private yard means you can sit outside with your morning coffee without feeling like you’re on display, which is pretty rare in London accommodation at this price point.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is that 8.9 rating — and after staying here, I get it. It’s not trying to be something fancy that it’s not, but everything works properly and feels thoughtfully arranged. The host clearly knows what travelers actually need (decent WiFi, proper shower pressure, blackout curtains), and the location gives you that authentic London experience without being completely cut off from the tourist bits. Plus, having your own front door and yard space makes it feel less like accommodation and more like borrowing a friend’s place.

Mabel was a very considerate host. I had been let down by the host of my original booking (not via Booking.com) at very short notice. I booked this property whilst travelling to London and shortly after, Mabel contacted me with directions, instructions for entry etc and travel advice for the area.
What could be improved: Nothing to mention.

Location, cleanliness, roominess, the modern kitchen and having a back patio.
What could be improved: For the length of our stay we could have used some more toilet rolls and bin bags.

"Great Apartment, Brilliant Location"
Great apartment, lots of space and well fitted out across the site. Lovely and clean on arrival, easy to find and good communication with our hosts in terms of key collection & locking up when we left. Lots of hot water in the bathroom and very little external noise, which was great considering the proximity to Wood Green Tube and the Vue Cinema over the road. Great value for money for 3 of us.
What could be improved: No real issues, made a note to the host that the sliding patio doors leading to the garden didn't lock, so had to improvise to keep them closed when we went out for the evening, but otherwise, all good.

"Jeśli jeszcze wybiorę się do Londynu, to prawie na pewno wyląduję w tym samym miejscu :)"
W budynku są dwa lokale. Pierwotnie mieliśmy zająć lokal parterze z dostępem do niewielkiego ogródka jednak z powodów technicznych otrzymaliśmy większy apartament zlokalizowany na drugim oraz trzecim piętrze. Trzy ogrome sypialnie z podwójnymi łózkami (w jednej nawet dodatkowo jedno pojedyncze) i czwarta niewielka z pojedynczym łóżkiem. Do tego dwie łazienki oraz niewielka jadalnia i salon zlokalizowane na samej górze. W apartamencie jest niewielka kuchnia, jednak znakomicie wyposażona - szeroki wybór sprzętów - od airfryer'a przez toster, piekarnik, czajnik itd. Na miejscu jest kawa, herbata, cukier, przyprawy i kilka składników spożywczych do wykorzystania. Podobnie ze środkami czystości w łazienkach i kuchni.
W lokalu było czysto, urządzone całkiem nieźle, łóżka wygodne. W razie niskich temperatur bojler momentalnie rozgrzewa kaloryfery do niebotycznych wręcz temperatur. W razie gorąca właściwie wszędzie są uchylane okna. Na miejscu czekały na nas ręczniki. W kuchni pralka - działa, bo skorzystaliśmy.
Internet w lokalu w doskonałej prędkości. Jeden test na początku dał 150 Mb/s. Bezproblemowo komunikowaliśmy się poprzez Messengera czy Facetime'a.
Na oddzielną uwagę zasługuje bliskość stacji metra Wood Green (linia Piccadilly) - dosłownie jedna/dwie minuty (100 metrów). Codziennie stamtąd startowaliśmy na kolejne wycieczki.
100 metrów od lokalu znajduje się też JD Wetherspoon, pub w którym można nie tylko wypić piwo, ale też zjeść typowe angielskie śniadanie czy obiad, ale też pizzę i in. A to wszystko w bardzo, jak na Londyn przystępnych cenach.
What could be improved: Kuchnia jest stosunkowo niewielka, ale nie problematyczna. Podobnie jak obie łazienki, ale same prysznice trochę klaustrofobiczne. Kąpać sie można bez problemu, ale na pewno samodzielnie :) i o ile nie nosi się XXXL.

"Для нас это было великолепно!"
Расположение было великолепным: в шаговой доступности торговый центр и множество магазинов, кафе, недорогих забегаловок и ресторанов. Станция метро в 100 метрах от апартаментов. Район очень тихий и комфортный. Спали с раскрытыми окнами, но никакого шума с улицы не было слышно. Великолепно! Всем советую эти апартаменты.
What could be improved: Это не недостаток, но следует это иметь в виду. Апартаменты представляют из себя традиционный английский рядный дом, так что комнаты находятся на четырёх полу-этажах, и вам придётся постоянно перемещаться между разными комнатами по небольшим узким лестницам.
