This apartment actually feels like someone’s home rather than a sterile rental, which is either charming or slightly odd depending on your perspective. The three bedrooms are genuinely spacious — I mean, you can actually move around without bumping into furniture. The kitchen is properly equipped too, not just the usual two-burner situation you often get in London rentals.
Hornsey Heights Reality
Here’s the thing about this part of North London — it’s residential in that quiet, tree-lined way that locals love but tourists sometimes find sleepy. The Hornsey area gives you proper neighborhood vibes, with actual corner shops and that feeling like you’re living somewhere real rather than staying in tourist central. You’re about a 15-minute walk to Crouch End, which honestly has some of the best independent cafes and shops in this part of town.
Transport and Getting Around
The nearest station is Hornsey Rail, and while it’s not exactly around the corner, it connects you to central London in about 25 minutes. Look, if you’re expecting to pop out for a quick trip to Oxford Street, this isn’t that kind of location. But if you want to explore North London properly — maybe hit up Alexandra Palace or wander through the actual neighborhoods — you’re perfectly positioned.

What makes this place work is the space and the genuine family-friendly setup. "Great location for travel into London. If travelling with children request the top floor apartment!"
The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic for a family travelling to see the sights of london. Bus stop right outside, tubes close by, pub across the road and a supermarket on the door step!
What could be improved: The living space could do with an extra sofa. I would get rid of the table and add in another sofa - We struggles to relax after a long day in london. We were in the second floor apartment, there was another group on the top floor who were VERY loud until the early hours and we could her EVERY footstep, bang, voice. We booked this as it stated 'family friendly' and travelled with young children so this was slightly disappointing - but didn't take away from our fantastic weekend - guest should be made clear to be quiet after a certain time as per the booking.

"Jestem zadowolona , pobyt udany . Mieszkanko fajne . Wszystkie instrukcje otrzymywaliśmy przed przyjazdem nie było żadny"
Mieszkanie czyste , zadbane . Dobrze wyposażone . Było nas 7 osób . Wystarczająca liczba sztućców , kubków szklanek . Pościel czyściutka , po dwa ręczniki dla każdej osoby . W każdej sypialni wiatrak , dodatkowo suszarka deska do prasowania i żelazko Okolica spokojna , blisko do sklepów , kawiarni i restauracji . Dobra komunikacja do centrum miasta blisko przystanek autobusowy który jedzie do metra kilka minut

"Appartamento carino in una bella zona residenziale di Londra"
Buona posizione per chi vuole conoscere una zona della città residenziale, poco turistica, in un quartiere ricco di bar e ristoranti, ben servito dai mezzi pubblici per poter raggiungere qualsiasi zona di Londra.
What could be improved: La cucina è dotata di utensili base ma per noi italiani, che amiamo cucinare, poco attrezzata. Abbiamo inoltre sentito la mancanza di una macchina da caffè utilizzabile (non abbiamo trovato le cialde disponibili nei supermercati della zona) e della lavastoviglie.
Un altro consiglio: ingrandirei il lavandino del bagno!😉
