When I first walked up to this four-star property, I was struck by how it manages to feel both grand and homey at the same time. The building itself has that classic London charm you’d expect from this part of London, but with modern touches that make you feel like you’re staying in someone’s beautifully appointed home rather than a typical hotel.
The Neighborhood
What I love about this spot is how perfectly positioned it is — you’re literally a stone’s throw from Hyde Park, which means morning runs or evening strolls are right there waiting for you. The area around Leinster Gardens has this wonderful residential feel that lets you experience London like a local, but you’re still close enough to Paddington Station that getting around the city is effortless. I mean, you can walk to Speaker’s Corner in about five minutes, and the Tube connections are fantastic.
The Space
The room I stayed in felt more like a proper apartment than a hotel accommodation — there’s real space to spread out, which is honestly rare in London. That private balcony they mention? It’s actually substantial enough to sit out with your morning coffee and watch the neighborhood come to life. The lift access is one of those details you don’t think about until you’re dragging luggage up narrow London stairs elsewhere, so trust me, you’ll appreciate it.
Comfort & Amenities
The whole place has been thoughtfully designed with modern travelers in mind. You know what impressed me most? The attention to practical details — good lighting for actually reading, proper storage space, and a bathroom that doesn’t require contortionist skills to navigate. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the overall setup makes it easy to settle in whether you’re staying for a few days or a longer stretch.

The location of the property was amazing! We loved the quiet neighborhood and easy access to everywhere in London. The size and decor of the apartment was wonderful! The apartment was also very equipped with everything we needed.
What could be improved: When you walk into the apartment building, the smell is pretty bad. Also the bathroom/laundry smells moldy.

The location is great and the host was friendly and very helpful. He responded immediately to our questions. The apartment is very nice and we will book this property again! Thank you!
What could be improved: The only minor issue was the mattress in the back part of the apartment was a little uncomfortable. Still, we would book this place again without hesitation.

Host communication was excellent. we loved the location and area! super clean apartment.
What could be improved: We had a few challenges with the hot water but the host was very helpful and always responded fast and respectful.

"I don’t like a boiler in the bedroom, others are good."
The staff is helpful and kind. The location is very good.
What could be improved: One of the bedrooms has the boiler.it continued switching on / igniting and made some noise slightly through the night. I found it was strange for frequently turning on and off during the night until i found a few pipes connected to that boiler. So that boiler may service other apartments. It made some noise during the night from the time to time. I was also worried about carbon monoxide, look Like the sensor located out of the room in the corridor, so I didn’t feel the safe so I had to open the window slightly. Unfortunately, the information of the apartment didn’t mention about there is a boiler in one of the bedroom.

The location was perfect for our needs. We were close to a Tube station and places to eat. The building was safe and the neighborhood was good.
What could be improved: The hot water in the shower was a hit or miss. Some showers had continuous hot water and some showers had water temperature fluctuating between hot and cold. The dryer did not heat up to dry clothes.

"overall, all the positives outweighed the negatives. it was just a lot of small inconveniences for the high price of ren"
the customer service from Raphael and his team was very good. responses to inquiries were quick. check in and check out instructions were clear and precise. I appreciated all the suggestions for first time London visitors. the neighborhood was quiet, safe, and had all the eateries and tube stations nearby. the apt. was lovely. we loved the kitchen dining area to relax and spend time with the family after long days of sightseeing.
What could be improved: the dryer did not completely dry our clothes. we had to hang everything to dry. in addition the floor in the bathroom gets completely wet when showering so impossible to have dry tub towel when stepping out of shower area. we had to put towel outside door to dry our feet. the floor tiling needs to be more tiled appropriately for the seamless look AND keep water from spreading out of shower area into other parts of bathroom. the toilet paper holder was broken as well so toilet paper roll would get completely wet when it fell off the holder when hanging toilet paper on the nub. hot water was inconsistent as well. it would be warm one second and completely cold another when showering. to get hot water in kitchen sink, we had to turn on shower first to get the water warmed.
