The building itself has that classic Camden character — not flashy, but solid and welcoming in a way that makes you feel like you’ve found something special. I mean, when a place scores 8.9 from actual guests, you know they’re doing something right.

Here’s what I love about staying in London — you can be in Camden and still reach everything that matters without feeling like you’re commuting from Mars. This four-star spot sits perfectly between the creative chaos of Camden Market and the transport hub that is Euston Station. You’re literally walking distance from some of the city’s best live music venues, and honestly, the street food around here? Don’t even get me started on the late-night options.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup is what really sets this place apart from your typical hotel experience. You get a proper kitchen — not some sad mini-fridge situation, but actual cooking space where you can make morning coffee without paying London café prices every single day. The room feels lived-in but polished, like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have impeccable taste and actually knows how to fold fitted sheets.
Neighborhood Vibes
Camden gets a bad rap sometimes for being too touristy, but Doric Way feels removed from all that madness while keeping you close enough to dive in when you want to. There’s this great little corner shop about two minutes away where the owner actually remembers your name after the second visit. The area quiets down nicely in the evenings too — you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to sleep.
Why Guests Love It
You know what really sold me on this place? It’s the kind of spot where you can actually live a bit like a local rather than just passing through. Need to do laundry? There’s space for that. Want to grab groceries and cook dinner? The kitchen actually works. Plus, there’s decent parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in London — though honestly, with Euston Station so close, you probably won’t need to. The whole setup just makes sense for anyone staying more than a couple nights or traveling with family who needs a bit more space to spread out.

Large apartment with 3 bedrooms. Conveniently located close to Euston Station. Host was excellent - good communication. Let us drop off bags early which was really helpful. Great to have a washer AND dryer.
What could be improved: It’s not the most salubrious part of London but so convenient.

Fantastic location very near Euston station. Good size and comfy living area. Easy access and easy to find. Fans in the bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. 2 bathrooms.
What could be improved: One bedroom blind broken and in need of repair but otherwise all good.

I picked up the key at a kiosk. Easily done. No problems. The apartment is spacious though oddly the en suite bed and bathroom are a bit too small. The place worked well for us. It's in an excellent location near Euston Station and all things Central London. The neighborhood is great with plenty of restaurants, pubs, fast food faves, and even a very popular roti spot right next door (will have to try it next time in the area). I would definitely stay here again. We had one issue that initially put a damper on our plans and the general vibe (see below) but the excellent host, Jimmy, sorted everything out quickly, arrived with sweets and biscuits (and the keys, see below) by the morning, and all worked out well for the rest of the stay.
What could be improved: The spare keys were not left in the apartment due to the housekeeping staff taking them so we were not able to arrange a second set of keys for five adults (two middle agers and three 18-21s) with different schedules until the next morning. I had to stay awake into the wee hours the first night to await my kids coming home from clubs so that I could let them in rather than risk the only set of keys being out on the town (and we also had to coordinate between the kids as they had different plans amongst them). No fun. But stuff happens. It all got sorted out by (later) in the morning. I doubt this will be a repeat issue for those staying in the future. If anything, rest assured that problems get solved by this host and property. :)

"Central, spotless and well appointed"
Perfect size for our family and walking distance to St Pancras for the Eurostar and to Euston for local trains.
What could be improved: The stairs are quite steep and my elderly parents struggled with them.
