Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked up to the Spacious West London 2 Bedroom Apartment, I’ll be honest — Horn Lane isn’t exactly the postcard-perfect London street you might imagine. But that’s actually what I loved about it right away. This four-star place sits in a proper residential neighborhood where real Londoners live, not some touristy bubble where you pay £6 for a coffee.
The Space That Surprised Me
You know what hits you the moment you step inside? The sheer size of the place. London apartments are usually shoebox-sized, but this one actually lives up to its name — it’s genuinely spacious. The living room has this comfortable, lived-in feeling without being shabby, and the kitchen is one of those rare London finds where you can actually cook a proper meal if you want to. I mean, the counter space alone would make most London flat-dwellers weep with envy.
Location Reality Check
Here’s the thing about being in West London — you’re not stumbling out your front door onto Oxford Street, but the trade-off is worth it. The Tube connection from nearby Acton Central gets you into central London in about 25 minutes, which honestly isn’t bad at all. Plus, there’s something refreshing about coming home to an actual neighborhood with corner shops and local pubs instead of tourist chaos.
What Actually Works
The two bedrooms are properly sized — not those clever “double beds” that turn out to be singles pushed together. I particularly appreciated that each bedroom gets decent natural light, which is rarer than you’d think in London. The whole apartment has this practical, unfussy vibe that just works for travelers who want a base rather than a show-off space. The shower pressure was surprisingly good too, though I suppose that’s the kind of detail that matters more after a long day walking around the city.
Why Guests Actually Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be your Instagram-perfect London stay, but that 9.1 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there. It’s the kind of place where you can spread out, do your laundry, grab groceries from the local Tesco, and still feel connected to London without paying central zone prices. The neighborhood has that authentic London residential feel — you’ll hear more local accents than American tourists, which honestly feels like a win. If you’re the type who values space and authenticity over being able to walk to Big Ben, this place delivers exactly what it promises.
Exploring London blends royal heritage, UNESCO landmarks, and vibrant neighborhoods glowing with golden-hour light.

"Wonderful stay in London"
Walter is a great host. He welcomed us in person and showed every details of apt to us. He provided bread, milk, butter, cheese, ham, biscuits, etc.
All rooms in the apt are spacious. Central remote control on heater. It is on the ground floor. So convention and comfortable.
Thank you Walter!

"Charming apartment and great host!"
A perfect home away from home. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. Walter is a thoughtful host who arranged parking and greeted us personally. Excellent location just a few minutes’ walk to the underground. Despite being on the road, the soundproofing was great with no disturbance. Would happily stay again!

"Fantastic"
Walter is a kind host. From the moment we booked, he offered to help us with anything we needed. He welcomed us by showing us the entire house. The refrigerator had milk, bread, salami, butter, etc. The house was bright and cozy with all the amenities. We felt right at home. Very close to the Elizabeth Line, which takes you to central London and Heathrow Airport in 15 minutes. Thank you, Walter, for all your kindness. If we return to London, we will definitely be your guests.

"Very nice place!"
The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Walter is a great host, he waited for us when we arrived and showed us everything, he even left us some food/drinks in the kitchen and cupboards. The neighbourhood is really nice and well connected to the city centre via the Central line or the Elizabeth line. Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda are very close as well. Would definitely recommend!

It was a pleasant stay. Walter is a great host. There were some details I appreciate: biscuits, bread, butter, milk, jam, some cheese, some salami, teas, coffee...As we arrived he took the.time to explain all clear. Thanks Walter! See you in the future.

"Great property with lots of thoughtful touches"
Walter was a great host. The property has all the extra bits and pieces you need to make it feel like a home away from home. It was close to public transport and about a 20min walk into Acton Town.
What could be improved: Nothing to do with the property, but the Elizabeth train line didn’t run many times during our week stay which made it tricky getting home at night.

Mr. Walter is a kind host. We have been in contact since the reservation, providing us with directions and transportation information. When we arrived, he was already waiting in the house. He introduced us to the house and all the preparations
. There are two comfortable sofas and spacious table in the living room. The bed in the bedrooms is very soft and comfortable, and there are various utensils in the kitchen, including gas, refrigerator, dishes, etc., facilitating us to cook the dishes. We stayed here for a week and felt completely at home. Thanks for providing us with a comfortable, relaxed and trusting environment. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient. The Elizabeth Line is nearby, about a 3-5 minute walk away, and the Central Line is about a 10 minute walk away. There are supermarkets near the North Acton Central Line station for easy shopping. This place is very livable.
