There’s a decent restaurant called Mirchi just down the road that does fantastic curry if you’re staying in for the evening.

The room itself lives up to that “spacious” promise — I’ve stayed in London hotels where you can barely open your suitcase, but here you actually have space to move around and spread out your things. The ensuite bathroom is modern and clean, with good water pressure (always a win in my book), and the bed is comfortable enough that I slept through most of the early morning train activity. The windows are decent quality, so noise really isn’t the issue I thought it would be.
