First Impressions
When I first walked into Spacious Camden Apartment D1, honestly, the name doesn’t lie — this place really does feel spacious for London standards. Located right on Delancey Street in the heart of Camden, you’re basically stepping into one of the most vibrant neighborhoods the city has to offer. The four-star apartment sits perfectly positioned where you can hear just enough of Camden’s energy without being overwhelmed by it.
The Space Itself
The room layout actually makes sense, which I can’t say for every London accommodation I’ve stayed in. There’s a proper living area that doesn’t feel cramped, and the kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped — I mean, you can actually cook a decent meal here rather than just heat up instant noodles. The whole place has this comfortable, lived-in feeling without being worn down, if you know what I mean.
Camden at Your Doorstep
Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally minutes from Camden Market, but you’re also close enough to Regent’s Park that you can escape the crowds when you need to breathe. The Northern Line station is practically around the corner, so getting to central London is dead easy. What most people don’t realize is that this stretch of Delancey Street puts you right between the touristy bits and where actual Londoners hang out.
Neighborhood Life
The street itself has character — there’s a proper mix of local pubs, quirky shops, and that authentic Camden vibe that hasn’t been completely commercialized yet. I found myself grabbing coffee from the same spot three mornings running because the locals were so friendly. You’re also walking distance from some brilliant music venues that don’t always make it into the guidebooks.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.6 rating, it’s clear other travelers have figured out what makes this place special. It’s not trying to be fancy — it’s just genuinely comfortable and in the right spot. You get the independence of having your own space with all the benefits of staying in one of London’s most interesting areas. Plus, there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room.
