Overview
First Impressions
The Spacious 3BR Home – sleeps 9 – Netflix – Near O2 & Greenwich Park honestly caught me off guard — in the best way possible. I’ll admit, the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but once you step inside this four-star property, you realize they’re just being refreshingly straightforward about what you’re getting. It’s a proper three-bedroom house that actually feels like a home, not some sterile rental where you’re afraid to touch anything.
Location & Getting Around
The location on Old Woolwich Road puts you right in the sweet spot of Greenwich — close enough to everything that matters but tucked away from the tourist chaos. You know what I love about this spot? You can literally walk to Greenwich Park in about ten minutes, and the O2 Arena is just a short bus ride or river taxi away. The DLR connections from nearby Cutty Sark station mean you’re not stuck out in the suburbs — central London is totally doable for day trips.
The Space Itself
Here’s where this place really shines: the three bedrooms are genuinely spacious, not those cramped boxes you sometimes get in London rentals. The main room has this lovely big window that catches morning light beautifully. What I appreciated most was the full kitchen — and I mean properly equipped, not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. You can actually cook proper meals here, which honestly saves a fortune when you’re staying for more than a couple nights.
Practical Comforts
The Netflix setup might sound like a small thing, but after long days exploring London, having familiar streaming options felt like a genuine luxury. The WiFi actually works well (tested it thoroughly — no buffering issues), and there’s decent parking space, which anyone who’s driven in London will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The whole place just feels thoughtfully arranged — like someone actually lives here and knows what guests need.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to win any design awards, but it nails the fundamentals that matter when you’re traveling with family or a group. The 8.7 rating makes perfect sense — it’s the kind of place where everything just works without drama. You’ve got space to spread out, a proper base for exploring Greenwich and beyond, and honestly, the value proposition is pretty solid for what you get in this part of London. It’s particularly brilliant if you’re planning to spend time at the O2 for events — no rush for last trains or expensive cab rides back to central London.

"Clean, Spacious Apartment in a Convenient Location"
-The location was excellent – just a 15-minute walk to the Observatory and around 40 minutes to the city centre.
-The area is lovely and offers a great view over the neighborhood.
-The apartment was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the host was kind and responsive, helping us with anything we needed.
-We really appreciated being able to turn on the heating during a colder period and the late check-in option was very convenient. -The apartment was easy to find and there are supermarkets, a pharmacy, a pastry shop and street food options nearby.
-The bathroom is split into two rooms (one for the toilet and one for the shower), which can be practical.
-Water pressure was good, both hot and cold water worked perfectly and we could take showers without any issues.
What could be improved: -The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and unreliable.
-There were quite a few small stairs inside the apartment and this wasn’t mentioned in advance: the apartment is spread over two floors: the first floor has the bathroom and two bedrooms (one with 2 twin and one single bed), while the second floor has the kitchen, living room and another double bedroom. The stairs are spiral, wider on one side and narrow on the other, which can be tricky for some. Even when using the bathroom on the first floor, you need to go down and then back up three small steps.
-The listing says there’s a washing machine in the kitchen, but there isn’t.
- The coffee machine uses special capsules, but none were provided (a few sample ones would have been nice).
-There were also not enough mugs and glasses for the maximum number of guests, so we had to take turns having coffee.
-In the bedroom with 2 beds, there was a mild smell coming from the Asian restaurant downstairs, which might be fixed by improving the window seals. The windows close properly, but the ventilation openings don’t seal completely, so a bit of cold air and noise can still come through.

"Great."
The house had a quirky feel with cute features. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was basic but perfectly adequate for a weekend stay. Also, the hosts were really good at answering any questions and the arrival instructions were clear and concise.
What could be improved: The stairs could prove a problem for some guests but the rooms were all lovely.

"Would not return"
1. The location was close to our daughter’s house
2. The agent Tim who helped navigate a refund due to mis-selling with there being no mention of stairs in the description
What could be improved: The stairs!!! Loads of them, as soon as you enter the property. No mention in the description which I really hope gets changed. The staircases were narrow, steep and winding and totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues, children or elderly. There are even steps down then up to the loo (terrible if you have to get up in the night) plus more steps up then down to the kitchen (rubbish when trying to carry cups of tea to the lounge). Only one loo also which would be challenging if you have a big group.
