Overview
First Impressions
You know what caught me off guard about the Spacious 3 Bedroom Home with PS5 and Pool Table Near O2 Arena Canary Wharf and Elizabeth Line to Central London? It’s actually a proper house, not some cramped flat pretending to be spacious. Walking up to 62 Brookhill Road, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this three-star property, but the place has character. The kind of setup where you can actually spread out and live a bit, rather than just crash for the night.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about Woolwich — it’s not exactly central, but that Elizabeth Line connection changes everything. I mean, you’re looking at maybe 20 minutes to get into the heart of London, and the O2 Arena is practically next door if you’re into concerts or events. The neighborhood itself is pretty residential, which means you get that local London feel without the tourist crowds breathing down your neck. There’s a decent pub around the corner and a Tesco within walking distance, so you’re not stranded.
The Space
This is where the place really delivers on its promise. Three proper bedrooms that can actually fit your stuff, and the main room where you walk in has this pool table that’s not just for show — it’s regulation size and everything. The PS5 setup is legit too, hooked up to a massive TV that makes you want to cancel your sightseeing plans. The kitchen is fully kitted out, which honestly saved me a fortune on takeaways during my stay.
What Makes It Work
The layout just makes sense for groups or families who need space to breathe. You’ve got separate areas where people can do their own thing — someone gaming, others around the pool table, maybe someone cooking. The WiFi actually works throughout the house, and there’s enough parking for a couple of cars, which is gold dust in London. Little touches like proper coffee in the cupboard and decent shower pressure show someone’s paying attention to the details that matter.
Why Guests Love It
Look, it’s not trying to be fancy, and that’s exactly why it works. You get the space and amenities of a home with the convenience of being connected to everything London offers. The Elizabeth Line literally puts you anywhere you want to be, but you come back to this quiet street where you can actually relax. For families or friend groups who want to experience London without paying West End prices for cramped hotel rooms, this place hits that sweet spot between comfort and value.

The location is perfect, close to two tube stations

Could do with more plates and cutlery.
All the rest was brilliant.

"We will be staying next if it is available."
The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and inviting from the moment I arrived. It was clear that great care and attention had been given to every detail, creating a space that felt both warm and welcoming. The overall atmosphere was comfortable, and it genuinely felt like a home away from home.Every room was thoughtfully arranged, and the cleanliness was of a very high standard fresh bedding, spotless surfaces, and a pleasant, neutral scent throughout the property. It was evident that the host had gone the extra mile to ensure that guests feel relaxed and well cared for.
It’s always a pleasure to stay somewhere that clearly values hospitality, and this property certainly delivered on that front.

"Displeased with the host."
Neat and the location.
What could be improved: We were very disappointed with our stay. The host accused us of taking five towels, which we absolutely did not. Despite explaining this and suggesting she check all wardrobes and bathrooms, she still charged us. In fact, there were extra towels we hadn’t used placed in the bedroom wardrobe. The fact that she didn’t even check there before making the accusation raises serious concerns about how thoroughly the property is cleaned and inspected between guests.
Another concern is that the host requested the deposit via direct bank transfer rather than through the booking.com platform. This felt unprofessional and suspicious, as it bypasses the usual security and protections for guests.
In addition, the layout of the property is not clearly described in the listing, the bathroom and toilet are located downstairs in the kitchen area, which may be inconvenient for many guests.
Overall, we cannot recommend this property given the unfair treatment, questionable practices, unclear listing information, and lack of professionalism.
