The building itself has that classic London residential feel, nothing flashy but perfectly solid.

You know what’s brilliant about staying here? Angel tube station is literally a few minutes’ walk away, which means you’re connected to the entire city without the tourist crowds of central zones. The area has this lovely local vibe — there’s a Waitrose around the corner for groceries, plus some genuinely good pubs that locals actually frequent. I mean, you’re close enough to Camden’s chaos but far enough away to get proper sleep at night.
The Space Itself
The room layout actually works really well for travelers who need more than just a bed — there’s a proper living area where you can spread out your stuff, and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab ingredients from that nearby Waitrose. The bedroom feels separate enough that if you’re traveling with someone, you won’t be on top of each other constantly. It’s that kind of setup where you could easily spend a few days without feeling cramped, which is rare in London accommodations.

"Exactly What I Needed"
After a long day of travel, this place was the perfect retreat. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully laid out. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and how well-stocked the kitchen was. Highly recommend!

"Terrible, unsafe misleading listing."

"Felt like a scam."
Nothing.
What could be improved: All the photos were AI/Computer generated. This was quite a shock especially when seeing the bathroom condition (cracked tiles, mould on the sealant around the bath) which looks nothing like the AI photo.
At the time of the stay it was listed as having 2 sofa beds. Only upon arriving did we find out it was actually two airbeds (one that deflated).
At the price of over 500 GBP for 2 nights this was abysmal.

"Beaucoup de stress par les conditions du logement"
L'emplacement est proche de Upper Street à Islington, avec beaucoup de commerces et un petit marché à deux rues.
L’appartement (au 4e étage) est correct, même si l’environnement de l’immeuble, une fois passée la porte sur rue, fait peur : on se croirait à Alcatraz !
Côté salon, la vue était terrible, donnant sur ces escaliers en ferraille noire et des façades toutes rouillées. En revanche, côté chambre, la vue était plus agréable.
What could be improved: J’ai été très surprise et stressée par la procédure d’arrivée. Alors que j’avais payé sur Booking, j’ai dû remplir un formulaire interminable, avec des conditions non annoncées sur le site, et une caution importante, alors que le lieu n’était pas nickel.
Cela m’a obligée à envoyer beaucoup de photos pour prouver l’état du logement et m’assurer, en le rendant dans le même état, de récupérer ma caution.
Pour le même prix, j’ai dormi les deux jours suivants dans un très bel hôtel 5* à Chelsea.

"Comfortabel en Goed Ingericht"
Wat ik vooral fijn vond, was hoe praktisch de ruimte aanvoelde in het dagelijks gebruik. Er was genoeg plaats om je spullen te laten liggen, rustig te koken en niet constant alles te moeten opruimen. De buurt rond het appartement was handig voor snel iets eten of vlot het openbaar vervoer nemen, wat verplaatsen heel eenvoudig maakte. Het voelde als een plek die echt geschikt is voor een langer verblijf, niet alleen voor een korte overnachting

"Hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen"
Dieser Ort hat meine Erwartungen in Bezug auf Sauberkeit und Komfort übertroffen. Der Raum wirkte frisch, ordentlich und einladend, und ich liebte, wie alles seinen Platz hatte. Das Bett war super bequem, und die Gemeinschaftsbereiche perfekt zum Entspannen. Der Gastgeber hat eindeutig daran gedacht, den Gästen ein willkommenes Gefühl zu geben. Auf jeden Fall ein Ort, zu dem ich gerne zurückkehren würde.

"Un soggiorno davvero memorabile"
Dall'inizio alla fine, tutto ha superato le nostre aspettative. L'unità era immacolata e splendidamente decorata. Il letto era incredibilmente comodo e abbiamo apprezzato l'ambiente accogliente. Torneremo assolutamente!
