First Impressions
Walking up to Soho Nest on Berwick Street, you honestly wouldn’t expect much from the outside — it’s tucked between a Vietnamese restaurant and one of those vintage shops that Soho does so well. But that’s sort of the point, isn’t it? This four-star boutique hotel feels like a well-kept secret in the heart of one of London’s most electric neighborhoods.
Location & Neighborhood
You’re literally in the thick of it here — Berwick Street Market is right outside your door, and I mean that’s either going to be your morning soundtrack or your afternoon entertainment, depending on how you feel about proper London street life. The thing about this spot is you can walk to Oxford Street in about three minutes when you need proper shopping, but you’re also stumbling distance from all those hidden Soho pubs that tourists never find. Honestly, the location alone justifies the stay if you want to feel like you’re actually living in London rather than just visiting it.
The Room Experience
The rooms are small — let’s just get that out there — but they’re cleverly designed in that way that makes you think “oh, this actually works.” Each room has this modern, minimalist thing going on with pops of color that keep it from feeling sterile. What I really appreciated was the attention to soundproofing; you’d think being on Berwick Street would mean constant noise, but once you close that door, it’s surprisingly peaceful.
Service & Amenities
The staff actually know the neighborhood — and I don’t mean they have a rehearsed list of recommendations. Ask them about the best curry on Brick Lane or where to catch live music, and you’ll get real answers from people who clearly spend their off-hours exploring the city. There’s no spa or fancy wellness center, but there’s something refreshing about a hotel that knows what it is and does it well rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
Why Guests Love It
Look, if you want a pool and room service until midnight, this isn’t your place. But if you want to wake up in actual Soho — where you can grab proper coffee from that little place around the corner and browse through Berwick Street Market before most of London’s even had breakfast — then Soho Nest gets it right. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you consider you’re paying for location and character rather than square footage and amenities. It’s one of those places where the city becomes part of the hotel experience, and honestly, that’s worth more than another generic parking garage or oversized lobby.

We had no trouble finding the place or getting into the apartment—it was very clearly explained in a well-prepared email with helpful photos. It's located right in the heart of Central London, within walking distance of practically every place you’d want to visit in the area. Despite being in such a central location, the “One-Bedroom Apartment” we stayed in was surprisingly quiet.
It's just a 5–10 minute walk to several Underground stations, including Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, and Leicester Square, which together cover five different lines.
The grey sofa on the upper floor turns into a double bed when unfolded, and can comfortably accommodate two people around 175–180 cm tall. I think the management should add a photo of this, as it was something I had questions about before arriving.
The apartment has its own Wi-Fi, and the speed was quite sufficient—though I had to reset the modem before using it.
The kitchen is small but well-equipped for preparing a simple meal or breakfast.

"Excellent location! Great place."
Excellent location. Host went above and beyond to help with shipping a package, and also quickly brought a fan, since we were in London during a heat wave. Air conditioner worked great upstairs. We walked to all the sites. Great restaurants and vibe in the area. Washer and dryer for clothes was wonderful to have.
What could be improved: WiFi is spotty at best. There is one flight of stairs, so if you have mobility issues, the stairs would be tough.

"Location location location. Good value for money"
The location is super great and central and yet the apartment is quiet. The owner was available and answered all of our questions. The check in instruction was very clear and simple. We had a great time.
What could be improved: The shower is so tiny. Bigger people can find it inconvenient.

"Descent location and clean rooms, but not sound proof with some issue with the heating system"
Location and the host is very friendly!
What could be improved: The flat has actually two stairs in an open space no sound proof, the show room is way too small, the heating system is not working property fortunately the host come to fixed it, but the control panel doesn't work which made the room sometimes too hot too dry impact sleeping qualify

Utrolig fin service - og rigtig sød vært, der hurtigt svarede på spørgsmål. vi fik lov til at lægge vores bagage i lejligheden allerede kl. 12, hvilket var super pænt af dem. restauranten lige ved lejligheden er super og giver 20% rabat.

Konum mükemmeldi evin içi özenli döşenmişti ve ferahtı. Mobilyalar çok hoştu kullanışlı ve herşey düşünülmüştü. Ufak karşılama kırabiyesi harikaydı. Dört kişi ihtiyacımız olan herşey vardı. Ev sahibi düzenli olarak bir şeye ihtiyacımız olup olmadığını sordu.
