Riverside 3BR with Easy Transport 20mins to City Centre sits on a quiet residential street in Southwark that honestly feels more like a local neighborhood than tourist territory — which is exactly what I loved about it. The building itself is modern and well-maintained, and you know what really struck me? How peaceful it was despite being so close to central London. Getting to flat 21 was straightforward, and the whole check-in process felt refreshingly personal compared to those massive hotel chains.
The Space and Layout
This four-star property really delivers on space — I mean, three proper bedrooms in London is no small feat. The main room flows naturally into a living area that actually feels lived-in rather than sterile. What caught my attention was how thoughtfully everything was arranged; there’s genuine storage space (travelers will appreciate this), and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d actually need. The whole place has this comfortable, residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed home rather than a rental.
Location and Getting Around
Here’s where this place really shines — that 20-minute promise to the city center is absolutely accurate, and honestly, it’s kind of liberating being slightly outside the tourist bubble. Canada Water station is a short walk away, and from there you’ve got direct connections that’ll get you to London Bridge or Canary Wharf without any fuss. The neighborhood itself has a proper Tesco nearby (essential for longer stays), plus some decent local pubs that most visitors never discover.
What Makes It Work
The riverside aspect isn’t just marketing speak — there really is water nearby, and those morning walks along the Thames Path became part of my daily routine. The apartment gets excellent natural light throughout the day, which makes a huge difference when you’re spending time working or just relaxing indoors. I was also impressed by how quiet it stays at night; you’re far enough from main roads that traffic isn’t an issue, but close enough that getting an Uber or finding late-night food isn’t a problem.

"Stunning views of the River Thames"
Very convenient place to many attractions. 4 minutes walk to buses to underground train. The rooms were spacious enough for six of us. The views of the river Thames are stunning both during the night and day. The host was courteous enough to offer us late checkout at no cost.
What could be improved: Very minor, the door to the bathroom needs to be fixed so that it is easy to open and close

"Beautiful river front apartment"
Beautiful view of the river! We had a clogged shower and it was fixed very very quickly! The beds were very comfortable! They provided 3 portable fans to help with air flow. While we were 20 minutes from city-center by car probably, we did public transportation and it was a lot longer. Busses come often so that helped! The washing machine was helpful and there's a provided drying rack in the closet.
What could be improved: The rooms were hot because we couldnt close the curtains if we wanted airflow from outside, but that's expected in Europe and the provided fans helped. The elevator is scary! The doors close on people and also it sometimes doesn't go all the way up to the floor we were on.

"Superb"
Only a 20 minute ferry ride away from London Central, this is a beautiful location with a gorgeous view of the Thames and London skyline.

"Wonderful location for family group to share"
The location and view was lovely and access to transport was great. The rooms were all a good size for our group, beds were very comfortable and plenty of nice clean towels. It had everything we needed with just a couple of exceptions. We really enjoyed it although didn't spend much time in it.
On the downside, it hot!! (the heating was excessive, which made it a bit uncomfortable and unnecessarily costly); the walls are looking a bit grubby in the bathrooms, the door to the shower room doesn't close (unless forced), the kitchen needs a teatowel and most important, the access code to the flat is very complicated and required several tries each time we came back to the flat.
What could be improved: As mentioned above:
1. Heating could be turned down
2. Walls could do with some paint
3. Bathroom door needs fixing so that it closes properly (especially as there's only one shower for all rooms)
4. Kitchen needs a teatowel
5. Front door to the flat needs a better access lock.

Good location to wharf and the pub at the end of the street was pleasant . Good contact with owners
What could be improved: Just a suggestion about having either tea towels
And oven mittens for when you are cooking and drying dishes .. The elevator was interesting we got to see a few floors before we got to ours 😂

"Helpful host and an amazing view of London! :)"
The amazing view is the first thing you notice when you walk into the property!
Moreover the instructions for checking in and accessing the property were very detailed and clear. We felt confident when we arrived because we knew exactly where to go and what to do to access the place.
Communication with the host was always quick and friendly. The host was ready to help at all times.
There are good transport links (two bus routes and Uber boat, or subway if you feel like walking 20 min).
The neighbourhood is really quiet and you can walk along the river. There is a local cosy pub nearby to grab some traditional dinner.
The kitchen had everything we needed. There is no common room (living room), but one of the bedrooms has two large tables where the entire group can share a meal.
There is a lift for carrying all your luggage :)

"Exceptional"
Beautifull fully equiped apartment near by river. Easy to get from city, easy to get in, nice communication with landlord. We were 2 families and all 8 people fited in without any issue. Lovely spot.

"Great stay."
Safe neighborhood. Nice view. Easy access to the Thames to get to the city. Waking distance to train station and supermarket, etc... and responsive host.
