Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Revamped & LuxXe for Covent Garden Lovers! Adorable City Home for Families & Friends on Shaftesbury Avenue, you can tell this isn’t your typical hotel experience. This four-star property feels more like staying at a friend’s beautifully renovated townhouse — assuming your friend has impeccable taste and lives in one of London‘s most theatrical neighborhoods. The facade blends seamlessly with the Victorian architecture lining the street, but step inside and you’ll find something completely fresh and contemporary.
Prime Theater District Location
Honestly, the location is pretty spectacular if you’re into London’s cultural scene. You’re literally surrounded by West End theaters — I mean, you can practically hear the opening numbers from your window some evenings. Covent Garden’s buzzing market and street performers are just a few minutes’ walk, and Leicester Square’s cinema chaos is close enough when you want it, far enough when you don’t. The proximity to Tottenham Court Road tube station makes getting anywhere in London ridiculously easy, which you’ll appreciate after long days of sightseeing.
The Living Space
What struck me most about this place is how it actually feels like a home rather than a hotel room. The renovation work is thoughtful — they’ve kept period details where it makes sense but added modern touches that actually work for families or groups of friends traveling together. The space flows naturally, and there’s enough room for everyone to spread out without feeling cramped. You know what I really appreciated? They’ve managed to create distinct areas for relaxing, eating, and sleeping without making it feel chopped up or awkward.
Neighborhood Character
Camden’s energy seeps into everything around here, but Shaftesbury Avenue itself strikes this nice balance between lively and livable. During the day, you’ve got office workers grabbing coffee and tourists consulting their maps, but evenings bring theater-goers in their finest and locals heading to dinner. There’s a great mix of proper London pubs and international restaurant options within walking distance — though honestly, with Covent Garden so close, you’re spoiled for choice. The area never quite sleeps, but it’s not aggressively noisy either.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.6 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s the kind of place that gets the details right — from the quality of the renovation to the way the space actually works for real people with real luggage and real need for comfort. Families particularly love having room to breathe, while couples appreciate the authentic London neighborhood feel without sacrificing modern amenities. The location delivers that perfect mix of being in the thick of things culturally while still feeling like you have a proper base to retreat to. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — it’s just really, really well done.
Apartments in London suit families with bright bay windows, full kitchens, and sunset loops through Hyde Park paths.

"Rare single level apartment in Covent Garden"
This 3-bedroom flat was amazing! The location - awesome, right in the heart of Covent Garden, with everything you could want just steps away. The apartment was so spacious, super clean, stylish, and had everything we needed. We needed a single level flat for my elderly mother which is a rare find in the city centre - so an additional big plus for this property was the lift without any stairs to take.
We weren't in London for the theater (medical reasons) but if you are, it's perfect—just a short walk to the West End. Whether you're in town to explore, shop, or see a show, this place is spot on!"

"Exceptional"
We had a fantastic time staying at Djan’s house on Oxford Street! It’s clear that he and his team truly care about their guests, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort-he even helped us out of a tricky situation we had caused. The house’s central location was perfect—we walked to many major attractions—and it was equipped with everything we could possibly need, including fans, a washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend booking this place! 😊

"Lovely House in Central Location"
A large house to stay in if you love shopping and going for theatres and entertainment. Located in a prime location, close to major attractions, shops, and restaurants. There’s also a bar next door, where you can enjoy a drink; however, you might hear some noise at night since it’s close to the bar. The house has a warm and artistic atmosphere, with all the necessary supplies provided; you can live here comfortably and easily. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and provided me with everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend this house to group of friends, teams, couples.

"Beautiful House"
This is such a beautiful house- just off Oxford Street. Met the needs of our stay. The property was exactly as described, and the amenities were top-notch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the location was perfect. A great central location to discover London. Definitely a perfect choice! The only regrets we had was not to stay longer!

"We loved this spacious fancy house!"
We loved this spacious fancy house! The owner prepared us that it can be noisy during the weekend but the reason why we decided for the house was exactly to experience a London prime location. It was awesome to have food, pubs, theatres on our doorstep. Everything was just perfect and we would definitely come back!

"Great place to stay as a large group"
Great place to stay as a large group. Spacious house with 5 bedrooms spread over 5 floors, well furnished and super clean. Fantastic location just off Oxford Street, it can be noisy during the weekend, but that’s why we chose the location, we wanted to be in the heart of the city. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process - can highly recommend this one!

"The location is incredibly central on Oxford St."
Myself and a few family members (in-laws, aunts, cousins) stayed for 2 nights as we were in town for a family reunion. This was a last-minute booking due to our other accommodations falling through unexpectedly, but Djan was incredibly communicative and accommodating. Check-in was well organized, and Jom was wonderful in showing us around the place!
The location is incredibly central on Oxford St, very close to transit and super accessible, accommodating all of us comfortably with great amenities (coffee, cooking supplies, etc). Also, don't miss out on the cocktails at Murder Inc!
