Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Regents Park Apartments on Albany Street, you immediately get that “local living” vibe rather than the typical hotel experience. It’s one of those places that feels like you’re borrowing a friend’s well-appointed flat in Camden — which, honestly, is exactly what makes it special. The building itself has that classic London character without being stuffy about it.
Location and Neighborhood
You’re literally a stone’s throw from Regent’s Park here, and I mean that — it’s about a two-minute walk to those gorgeous rose gardens everyone raves about. London can feel overwhelming sometimes, but this little pocket of Camden strikes the perfect balance between central and residential. The Camden Market chaos is close enough when you want it, but far enough that you can actually sleep at night.
The Apartment Experience
What I love about staying in an apartment here is the space — you’re not cramped into a tiny hotel room trying to live out of a suitcase. Each unit has a proper kitchen setup, which honestly saved me a fortune on London’s restaurant prices (though there are some fantastic local spots when you do want to venture out). The furnishings feel contemporary but lived-in, if that makes sense — like someone actually thought about comfort rather than just Instagram appeal.
Practical Perks
The four-star rating feels spot-on for what you get here. There’s parking available, which anyone who’s driven in central London will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The staff actually know the neighborhood — they pointed me toward this brilliant little café around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise. You know what really impressed me though? The Wi-Fi actually works properly, and the water pressure doesn’t disappoint.
Why Guests Love It
Look, if you want to be pampered with turn-down service and a concierge in a top hat, this isn’t your place. But if you want to feel like you’re actually living in London for a few days — making coffee in your own space, popping out to the park for a morning jog, having somewhere to properly unpack — then you’ll get it. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you consider you’re getting genuine London living without the hassle of actually renting a flat. It’s that sweet spot between hotel convenience and apartment authenticity that’s surprisingly hard to find.

"Exceptional"
It’s a clean and very well-organized accommodation. There’s an excellent Mediterranean restaurant on the ground floor, but it was not as noisy as we had feared. Although there was an issue with the shades, the host responded quickly and resolved the problem efficiently.

"Clean and comfortable apartment, perfectly located next to the bus station with a nearby supermarket—great stay, thanks"
I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was perfect, next to the bus station, which made getting around so easy. There’s also a supermarket nearby, which was very convenient. A big thank you to the host for being welcoming and making the stay enjoyable!

Wonderful treatment and excellent service from the owner of the place. And unlimited cooperation from him to make our stay comfortable by providing everything we need.
What could be improved: Nothing.

"Great apartment!"
Very good localisation, 4 minutes to underground station, and bus stops, which in few minutes can take you to the main attractions. And apartment, oh man, very clean, it was outstanding! Fully equipped, washing maching, dishawasher, fridge, electric kitchen, 2 comfy beds, additional bed for 1yo child, lift, everything you need to live normally. I really recommend this apartment

"Great location, roomy, great hosts."
The hosts were freindly and helpful. The downstairs pub was welcoming and had a nice menu of small plates, a terrific buttersquash soup and nice deserts. The apartment was roomy and clean with enough drawers and closet space for us. The location was to our taste, away from the tourists and pretty quiet. The #88 bus stop is a half block away, and 3 underground stations are nearby.
What could be improved: The pull out bed didn't pull out smoothly but was plenty wide for one with the cushions removed. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure but the rain option sprayed all over the place leaving just the hand held option. The bathroom sink was a bit awkward.

"Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff, will definitely be rebooking again, massive thanks"
It was a perfect location for shopping and theater being only 1 stop from Oxford circus and only 4 stops from Paddington station.
Being above the pub I did wonder about the noise but didn’t hear anything from downstairs and what a fantastic pub it was, the food was amazing and the staff went beyond our expectations and went out of their way to be so very helpful and friendly.
What could be improved: For us there was nothing we didn’t like about it, there is a fairly busy road out the front and we are used to a rural life so very little traffic but it didn’t stop us from sleeping

"Perfect location with a great host."
The location is close to many subway stops and hop on buses. It is walking distance from many great restaurants, pubs, and tesco shopping. The garden is so close too.
What could be improved: The pull out bed wasn’t the most comfortable.

"Great location. Nice overall quality. Friendly staff in pub."
The location was the best part of this property. The overall renovation is nice.
What could be improved: Bed and pillows were poor quality. Open loose electrical wiring in the kitchen. There many small details that have not been completed (ie trim missing, missing flooring, lamp sitting on the floor)
