First Impressions
When I first walked up to Regent’s Park Apartment on King Henry’s Road, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside. That’s actually what I love about it. This four-star property sits quietly in a Victorian terrace, blending into the residential street like it belongs there (which it does). You’re staying in what feels like a proper London neighborhood, not some touristy bubble.
The Camden Connection
The location is brilliant if you know Camden beyond just the markets. King Henry’s Road is this lovely tree-lined street that locals actually live on — you’ll see people walking their dogs and popping to the corner shop. It’s a solid 15-minute walk to Camden Town station, but honestly, I found myself taking the bus more often because you get to see more of the area. The proximity to Regent’s Park is the real winner here — I mean, you can literally walk there in about 10 minutes.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup is what sets this place apart from your typical hotel experience. My room felt more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s flat than a hotel — there’s a proper kitchenette if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Sainsbury’s and make breakfast. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between modern and cozy, though the bathroom could use a bit more counter space. Still, everything works well and feels thoughtfully put together.
Getting Around
Here’s something I wish I’d known before arriving — parking on this street requires a bit of strategy. It’s mostly residents’ permits during the day, but evenings and weekends are fair game if you’re driving. Most guests probably won’t need a car though. The tube connections from Camden Town get you pretty much anywhere in central London within 20 minutes, and there’s something satisfying about walking through Regent’s Park to reach the West End instead of going underground.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about this place is how it lets you experience London like you actually live here for a few days. You’re not in the thick of tourist central, but you’re not stuck somewhere inconvenient either. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me — it’s the kind of place that delivers exactly what it promises without trying too hard to impress. The staff know the area well and actually give useful recommendations (the gastropub they suggested around the corner was spot-on). It’s ideal if you want that residential London experience but still need proper hotel amenities and service when you want them.

"Great location, well equipped, could be a bit more comfortable"
The location is great (Primrose Hill neighborhood) and very quiet at night. The flat itself is a little rough around the edges (loose faucets, needs little more thorough cleaning). Tons of storage in each room. It is wonderful to have 2 bedrooms, but the beds are very uncomfortable, and the sofa is hard both for sleeping and just sitting. It did not feel sturdy when folded out into a bed, so we just kept it in sofa mode for one person to sleep. No bedding or pillows provided for the sofa, we had to borrow from the bedrooms, making use of decorative throw blankets and pillows. All that said though, we loved being there and especially having the full kitchen available. Morrison’s grocery is a 10 minute walk, and the Chalk Farm tube is even closer.

"Exceptional"
Good location close to park, zoo, camden. Accommodation as described, clean. Good instructions on how to get there. The owner responds to questions.
What could be improved: We had to wait for the key which was not in the box as advised.

"Comfortable"
Fuimos 3 amigas y el departamento nos parecio super espacioso y completo. Las habitaciones grandes y equipadas con todo lo que necesitábamos. El edicifio es tranquilo, casi que no nos cruzamos con gente. El vecindario es igual de tranquilo para caminarlo. La distancia del centro es la que indica en el detalle, pero llegar a las lineas de transporte es solo minutos de caminata. Hay mercados cerca para comprar y cocinar/lavar en el departamento.
La anfitriona nos guio y envió todo el detalle para ingresar al departamento unos dias antes y el dia de salida.
What could be improved: Creo que en la descripcion les falta recalcar que la bañera en el baño esta muy alta. Si alguien tiene problemas de movilidad es un poco dificil de ingresar.
Si bien hay transporte cerca, no es el centro de Londres asique si estas poquito tiempo sabe que hay entre 20 y 40 min de viaje depende a que sitio turistico estes yendo.
Habia dos habitaciones con cama de dos plazas cada una y el sofa del comedor se hacia cama tambien pero no teniamos sabanas o alcolchado para armarla.

"Super Lage, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis"
Sehr gut gelegen direkt am Primrose Hill, Underground-Station, Supermarkt, Restaurant/Pub alles in Laufweite.

"Merece la pena"
Es bastante amplio para grupos, cocina bien equipada, a 10 min andando de la estación de metro de Chalk Farm. Se compone de 2 habitaciones dobles y un salón con sofá-cama (donde también podrían caber 2 personas).
En relación calidad-precio fue lo mejor que pudimos encontrar cerca del centro.
Marlene fue muy amable y días antes nos envió instrucciones detalladas de cómo llegar.
What could be improved: Es un segundo sin ascensor, por lo que hay que subir las maletas a pulso. Al llegar el primer día olía un poco a cerrado, harían bien en poner ambientadores.
La ducha no tiene demasiada presión y cuesta un poco regular la temperatura .

La localisation, la simplicité, la propreté, l espace, la cuisine et les équipements, les chambres, le calme de la résidence.
What could be improved: La communication avec le loueur, le canapé lit très ferme, système de box et clefs à laisser dedans : pas facile ( se baisser, mettre le code à chaque fois, fermer la box).
