Walking up to Premium 2 Bed Apartment in Haggerston on Albion Drive, you get that “oh, this is actually nice” feeling. The building sits quietly in this corner of Hackney that’s still got some grit but feels genuinely lived-in rather than overly polished. It’s the kind of place where you can tell locals actually want to be here — not just passing through because they have to be.
The Neighborhood Feel
Haggerston’s one of those London areas that’s hit its stride without losing its character. You’ve got the Regent’s Canal literally around the corner, which means proper weekend walks and that slightly smug feeling of living somewhere with actual water views. The Broadway Market crowd spills over here, but it’s not as intense — you can still grab coffee without queuing behind twenty people with expensive cameras.
Inside the Space
This four-star setup actually delivers on the “premium” promise without being stuffy about it. The apartment feels like someone’s well-organized friend lives here — everything works properly, the WiFi doesn’t cut out during video calls, and there’s enough space that two people aren’t constantly bumping into each other. The kitchen is honestly better equipped than most London rentals, which means you can make actual meals instead of surviving on meal deals from Tesco.
What Actually Matters
The beds are proper comfortable — not that firm-as-concrete thing some places think passes for “supportive.” Each room gets decent natural light, which in London feels like winning a small lottery. You know what really impressed me though? The shower pressure is excellent, and the heating responds when you adjust it. These sound like basic things, but honestly, half the places I’ve stayed in this city fail at both.
Why Guests Love It
The location hits that sweet spot where you’re close enough to central London without paying Zone 1 prices for everything. Haggerston Overground station is a short walk, and you’re genuinely well-connected — Old Street in fifteen minutes, King’s Cross in twenty. Plus there’s actual parking nearby if you’re mad enough to drive in London. The 8.7 rating makes sense when you add it all up — it’s the kind of place where everything just works without any drama, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to enjoy a city break.

What could be improved: Honestly, there wasn't anything that I didn't like during my stay. Everything met or exceeded my expectations, and I don’t have any complaints at the moment.

"Exceptional"
I had a fantastic stay at this chic 2-bedroom flat in Haggerston! The apartment was beautifully designed, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to great cafes, restaurants, and public transport. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I loved the stylish decor and cozy vibe, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to London. Highly recommend.

"Mycket bra!"
Rent och välstädat. Nära till tågstationen och hyfsat lätt att ta sig in till centrala London. Mycket tillmötesgående och vänlig värd som svarade omgående vid funderingar om boendet. Smidigt check in och ut.
What could be improved: Duschdraperiet kunde ha bytts ut. Mögel eller dylikt på annars mycket fräscht.

"Molte promesse, poco confort"
Nulla della struttura. Servizio clienti buono.
What could be improved: Struttura estremamente distante dalle principali attrazioni turistiche di Londra, abbastanza vicino alla metro ma neanche troppo. Al nostro arrivo (all’una di notte) la casa era freddissima, riscaldamento completamente spento e un freddo esagerato (era dicembre). Dato che l’host sapeva che saremmo arrivati non poteva accendere il riscaldamento?
Prima di partire ho chiesto se ci fossero asciugamani grandi e piccoli e mi è stato risposto di sì. Una volta arrivati abbiamo trovato un solo asciugamano grande per ciascun ospite, capite bene che non poteva andare bene.
L’appartamento era stato prenotato per cinque ospiti, sapevamo che ci sarebbero state due camere e un divano letto. Peccato che non esiste alcun divano letto, bensì una poltrona che si può allungare. La quinta ospite ha quindi dormito sul divano. Nonostante l’host sapesse che appunto eravamo in cinque, non si è premurato di far trovare un set di coperte (piumone lenzuola) per allestire il divano, per cui abbiamo preso un lenzuolo doppio ed un cuscino doppio da uno dei letti.
Il bagno principale aveva una finestra che non si chiudeva bene, per cui entrava una corrente d’aria incredibile. In generale la struttura non è granché, alcuni dettagli sono fatiscenti e poco curati. Molte regole per il check out (che se non vengono seguite rischiano di generare una multa) e inoltre sono richieste molte accortezze a mio avviso troppe (es: Tra le richieste finali era previsto anche il radunare i sacchetti della spazzatura in uno più grande, attività poco comprensibile considerando che si tratta di un appartamento a pagamento e non di una gestione autonoma).
