What really struck me was how quiet it gets inside despite being on one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares. The Dorchester Collection clearly knows what they’re doing when it comes to soundproofing. Wellington Arch is right there if you’re into that sort of thing, and Apsley House (the Duke of Wellington’s former home) is practically next door.

The room I stayed in — well, let’s just say it redefined my understanding of what hotel luxury actually means. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame Hyde Park views that change throughout the day, and the Italian marble bathrooms are something else entirely. The art collection throughout the hotel isn’t just decoration; it’s museum-quality pieces that make you slow down and actually look. CUT at 45 Park Lane — their signature restaurant — serves some of the finest steaks I’ve had anywhere in London. It’s Wolfgang Puck’s only UK venture, and honestly, the man knows his craft. The sommelier team actually listens when you describe what you’re in the mood for, rather than just pushing the most expensive bottle. Service feels genuinely attentive without being intrusive, which is rarer than you’d think at this level.

Overall the stay we had at the hotel was incredible and the staff very helpful. Room was amazing. The only blip on a what would have been a perfect stay is.
What could be improved: I was surprised that the staff at the hotel were practising lifeguard exercises in the pool during opening hours for guest. This could have been done during the evening when closed to guests. Coupled with the hot tub being broken we found the the pool area could have been more relaxing and did not meet the standards of other similar priced hotels in London

One of the finest hotel experiences I have ever had was at 45 Park Lane. The service is simply on another level, from the reception to the smallest details. The reception and service team are extremely refined in their approach and make every guest feel truly at home. Both the daytime manager and the night duty manager were highly professional, warm, and genuinely attentive to guests’ comfort.
After seven years since my last stay, I returned to find that the standards had not only remained the same but had become even better. It truly feels like a royal treatment, where every need is met with the utmost care. The concierge team is strong and efficient, and the staff are far from transactional — their genuine goal is guest satisfaction. Even when offered tips, they shy away with modesty and self-respect, which reflects a unique culture of service that makes you feel like you are among family.
The cleanliness and luxury of the hotel are on a remarkable level, and every staff member, without exception, embodies respect and courtesy. A moment that stood out was the warm welcome from the Lounge Manager, who offered my family and me an exceptional dinner while we waited for our room to be prepared. His hospitality and generosity were truly memorable and a perfect example of authentic, high-level service.
I must also highlight the butler team: on the first day, Mohammed provided us with exceptional service, assisting with unpacking and ensuring every need was met, greeting us with warmth and care. On the second day, Hamza proved to be equally outstanding kind, professional, and helpful. He even solved a restaurant issue for me and quickly arranged the booking when my phone would not connect, making everything seamless and stress-free.
In short, 45 Park Lane is not just a hotel; it is a complete experience of luxury, warmth, and outstanding professionalism.

"It was wonderful and a unique experience."
The staff especially Nikoleta , Lisa and Priscilla they were great . They did everything to make us comfortable and happy. The hotel chefs also were kind and generous and made lovely pastries . We loved our stay so much that we would give it a 7 stars.
What could be improved: We think the housekeeping can be better and more professional.
