Park Lane Apartments Mayfair Collection
First Impressions
Walking up to Park Lane Apartments Mayfair Collection on Clarges Street, you immediately get that feeling you’re somewhere special. I mean, this is Mayfair we’re talking about — the streets are lined with those classic Georgian buildings, and you’re literally a two-minute walk from Green Park. The building itself has that understated elegance that screams quality without being flashy about it.
The Apartment Experience
Here’s what actually sets this place apart: these aren’t hotel rooms, they’re proper serviced apartments. Each apartment comes with a full kitchen that’s genuinely equipped — not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation. You know what I loved? Being able to grab fresh ingredients from Fortnum & Mason (which is practically around the corner) and actually cook a decent meal. The living spaces feel like someone’s well-appointed London flat, complete with separate bedrooms and living areas that don’t make you feel cramped.
Location Magic
Honestly, the location is pretty much unbeatable if you want to experience central London properly. You’re sandwiched between Piccadilly and Berkeley Square, which means Bond Street shopping is a five-minute stroll, and Piccadilly Circus is maybe ten minutes on foot. What really impressed me was how quiet Clarges Street stays despite being so central — it’s one of those tucked-away Mayfair streets that locals actually know about.
The Details That Matter
This four-star property gets the practical stuff right in ways that matter when you’re staying for more than just a night or two. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (shocking, I know), there’s decent parking available if you’re driving, and housekeeping comes regularly without being intrusive. The staff seem to genuinely know the neighborhood — they pointed me toward a fantastic gastropub on Shepherd Market that I never would’ve found otherwise.
Why Guests Love It
Look, if you’re after a traditional hotel experience with a restaurant downstairs and room service at all hours, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want to live like a Londoner for a week — making morning coffee in your own kitchen, having space to spread out your stuff, and being able to walk to everything from the Royal Academy to the best pubs in Shepherd Market — then Park Lane Apartments really delivers. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense when you realize you’re getting the independence of your own place with the service backup when you need it.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
