When I first walked up to Oxford Street 1 Bedroom Shopping Retreat! 3GC, I’ll be honest — the name pretty much tells you everything you need to know. You’re literally on London’s busiest shopping street, and this four-star place doesn’t try to pretend it’s something it’s not. The building itself sits right at number 395 Oxford Street, which means you’ll hear the buzz of the city even before you step outside.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup here is actually pretty clever — it’s more like having your own little London pad than staying in a traditional hotel room. The bedroom is separate from the living area, which I really appreciated after long days wandering around the city. There’s a proper kitchen too, not just one of those tiny hotel kitchenettes, so you can actually cook if you want to save some money (and let’s face it, London dining adds up quickly).
Location Reality Check
Look, you’re on Oxford Street — this means it’s going to be busy, especially during the day. But honestly? That’s exactly why you’d stay here. Selfridges is practically next door, and you can walk to Bond Street, Regent Street, or Tottenham Court Road without breaking a sweat. The tube connections are everywhere, which is what you really need in London anyway.
What Works (And What Doesn’t)
The 8.6 rating makes sense once you’ve been here a few days. The space gives you room to actually live a bit, not just crash between sightseeing sessions. However, if you’re looking for peace and quiet, well… you picked the wrong street for that. The trade-off is that you’re in the absolute heart of everything — I mean, you can literally shop until the stores close and stumble back home in two minutes.
Why Guests Love It
What I found most appealing was the freedom it gives you. You’re not tied to hotel meal times or worrying about restaurant reservations every single night. The separate bedroom means one person can sleep while the other watches TV or catches up on emails. And for shopping enthusiasts? You honestly can’t get more central than this — your biggest problem will be carrying all your bags back upstairs.

We had such a wonderful stay at Street 1 Bedroom Shopping Retreat! 3GC. The apartment is stylish, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The bedroom is cosy and comfortable, and the living area has everything you need to relax after a busy day.
One of the highlights is definitely the location—being just steps away from great shopping and dining makes it incredibly convenient. Whether you want to explore the local area or simply unwind indoors, this apartment offers the perfect balance.
The host was welcoming, responsive, and made the check-in process easy and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend this retreat to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of charm.

"Convenient location and clean place"
Perfect location, clean, sufficient for a family of 5. Its facilities including kitchen are very good as well
What could be improved: Very primitive lift, but that is due to the age of the building. No luggage room if you arrive early or leave late, but staff are cooperative in this regard as well

"A Fabulous Stay in the most Perfect Location"
Absolutely Fabulous and a perfect 10/10. The Location, the host, the cleanliness and all the small touches around the home which showed the warmth of the host. What a location!! We were bang in the middle of Oxford Street!! We always felt safe in the area and it was vs the perfect spot to explore London!! The apartment was extremely spacious compared to London standards. The host would reply to any queries within minutes and went out of the way to make our stay comfortable.
The lift and air conditioner was a big plus

"Super experience"
It was super clean with plenty of clean beddings, staff were very helpful and extra materials were. Promptly provided upon request. The apartment is easily accessible and in a good location be it for holiday, sbopping or business trips. I highly recommend the place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Central London apartment. The location was ideal, with easy access to shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The apartment was well-maintained, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. The host provided excellent service and made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

"Nice and comfortable!"
I had a wonderful stay at the place ! The location was perfect for exploring with major attractions like Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus just a short walk away. The apartment was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen and free Wi-Fi. The city views were a nice bonus. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to enjoy London.
