Overview
First Impressions
Oxford Street 2 Bedr, 3 Beds, 2,5 Bath, 2 min subway isn’t your typical hotel — it’s actually an apartment that feels more like borrowing a friend’s place in central London. Located on Hanway Street, you’re literally tucked away on this quiet side street that most tourists walk right past, but honestly, that’s what makes it perfect. The building itself is classic London townhouse style, and when I say two minutes to the subway, I mean you can practically roll out of bed and catch the Tube.
Location Magic
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re close enough to Oxford Street that you can hear the buzz, but far enough away that you actually get some sleep. Hanway Street has this cool, slightly bohemian vibe with record shops and little cafes that feel authentically London rather than touristy. The Goodge Street station is genuinely right there, and from there you can get anywhere in the city without thinking twice about it.
The Space Itself
Walking into this four-star place, you immediately notice how much room you have compared to typical London accommodations. Three beds spread across two bedrooms means groups or families can actually spread out — something that’s surprisingly rare in central London. The living area has this comfortable, lived-in feel that makes you want to grab takeaway and settle in for the evening. The kitchen is well-equipped too, which honestly saves you a fortune when London restaurant prices start adding up.
Practical Comforts
What really works here are the little details that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. Having two and a half bathrooms means no queuing in the morning — trust me, that’s huge when you’re sharing space with others. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given), and there’s proper storage space so you’re not living out of suitcases. The wifi is solid, which matters if you’re mixing business with pleasure or just trying to plan your next day out.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.4 rating makes sense when you experience the place yourself — it delivers on the practical stuff without trying to be fancy about it. You’re staying in a real London neighborhood where locals actually live and work, not some sanitized hotel district. The value is excellent considering you’re getting apartment-style space in Zone 1, and that Tube access means you can explore different parts of the city easily. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing London rather than just visiting it, if you know what I mean.

"Very nice place that is centrally located with a great management team and cleaning staff."
The apartment is very nice and modern with several of the basic needs provided, i.e., coffee maker with coffee, iron and board, utensils, towels, etc.) The place was very clean and the 2 bedrooms with in-suite bathrooms are a plus. There is also a half bath on the main floor. It is centrally located and real close to restaurants, stores, and the SOHO area.
The management team was great! Great communication and the instructions for entering and leaving the apartment were clear and exact.
The apartment is located over a bar that plays music until 1 or 2 AM which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for some. The bar staff were really pleasant and recommend going in a getting a drink or two.
What could be improved: The apartment does not come with AC but does have fans in both bedrooms and one on the main floor.

"Pleasant"
Amenities - full kitchen
along with cooking ingredients. 👍
What could be improved: Noise from nextdoor singing into the early morning.
Be careful if you check-in late, because it is challenging to get a whole of management because there are no manager on-site.

"Modern and Clean Apartment in a Fantastic Location"
The apartment was in a fantastic location, right off Oxford Street.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The instructions given to use the amenities were clear and useful. The TV was great and we loved that it had Netflix.
The bedrooms were a good size and it was nice that they were both en-suite with modern and clean bathrooms.
What could be improved: As expected in the middle of London, there was noise from a nearby club. Music stopped in late night/early morning so we still got a full night's sleep.
We found that the mattresses were lumpy, but this didn't really affect our sleep quality.

"Nice place. Great location."
Location was good for being central to everything we needed. The property itself was comfortable
What could be improved: It’s above a bar, so very noisy at night. Even though it’s sound proofed, it’s more the bedrooms that receives the most noise. Didn’t like that the property uses same main door as the bar below, therefore often had to ask people congregating outside the bar to move aside to enter property. Smelled of sewage in one of the bathrooms

"Amazing value, overnight stay, in a spacious, modern apartment, right in the heart of London"
Only booked the stay 24 hours prior for myself and 3 colleagues, staying overnight after a business trip in London, but everything was spot on. Good communication beforehand from the host (Steve), followed by the property manager (Mike) sending over all check in instructions and relevant details via WhatsApp.
I was a little apprehensive at what we may arrive to, for the relatively low price we paid, being located above a bar and having to collect the keys from a nearby off-licence etc. but I had no need to worry. The key collection process was nice and easy and convenient and the property was clean and modern as shown in the pictures. I had looked at other properties before booking where some of the reviews suggested things weren't quite as they appeared in the photos - but that wasn't the case here.
Being right in the middle of central London, I was also surprised how quiet it was. I expected to be hearing vehicles, sirens, commotion etc. at all hours, but did not experience any of this.
All linen was provided, alongside towels. toiletries, and even a coffee machine with pods. The free Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and worked well and although we didn't use it there was even a Playstation available for use.
Would definitely recommend this property to others, particularly in our scenario where the cost would be a lot higher for multiple hotel rooms.
What could be improved: I couldn't fault anything from our own point of view as we were out until late ourselves anyway, but the location above a bar may not be suitable for others, particularly with younger children.

"this was the perfect spot for most things, everything we wanted to do on our door step"
Brilliant location for sight seeing, shopping, night life
What could be improved: Nothing bad to say , just a few things we noticed, no air conditioning, we did have hot weather , although there was a bit of noise from bars on street , it didn’t seem too late , it didn’t affect us but may not be for everyone.
