You can actually cook here if that’s your thing, and there’s enough counter space to spread out your groceries from Borough Market (which, by the way, is totally worth the trip). The living area connects everything nicely, and there’s room for everyone to hang out without feeling cramped.

Campden Street sits right in that sweet spot where Notting Hill meets Kensington, and you’re close enough to both areas to feel like a local. Holland Park is literally around the corner — I mean, you can walk there in about three minutes — and it’s one of those London parks that somehow stays relatively quiet even on weekends. The Tube connections are solid too; you’ve got multiple lines within walking distance, so getting around the city never feels like a hassle.

You know what I really appreciated? The street itself isn’t touristy at all. It’s just… normal London residential life happening around you. There’s something refreshing about stepping out for coffee and not immediately being surrounded by other travelers with maps and cameras.

The Details That Matter

The duplex has all those little touches that make a difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple days. Good water pressure in the showers, blackout curtains that actually work, and enough outlets that you’re not constantly unplugging things to charge your phone. The Wi-Fi is reliable — I worked from the dining table a few mornings without any issues.

"Great stay and hosts"
The location was great just a few minutes off the underground stop, the hosts communication was superb and they were ready to meet us with keys when we arrived. Kitchen well equipped and the beds were incredibly comfy

The communication was excellent and personal, the interrior is full with character yet tastefull and without clutter. the cleaness was superb. Beyond all it is spacious in comparison with similar apartments in Booking.

"Amazing house offering both great value for money and location!"
The duplex was great for our short stay in London! It's super spacious with loads of light, nice furniture and amenities. Three nicely sized bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms offer a very comfortable stay. Location is prime, between High Street Ken and Notting Hill - would definitely recommend and will come back again! Amazing value for money and great host!

This is an absolute great location. You are about three blocks from the Notting Hill underground subway station. Definitely learn the tube system. It is easy and really makes everything around London very accessible and cheap. There’s also a lot to do around Kensington. The city is very walkable. You are about one hour walk from Buckingham Palace and a lot of the attractions in downtown London if you would prefer to walk.
What could be improved: Really nothing. The accommodations were fine. The rooms are small, but I think this is very typical of London, but having a having a full kitchen and living area is definitely a great as well as a functional washer dryer. Three full showers is a great plus. You will not be disappointed.

"Lovely comfortable stay in great location"
Lovely comfortable property with all. The owner met us when we arrived and they had supplied essentials for us such as milk, tea, coffee, bread and butter. Loved the complimentary Rituals Handwash and bath/shower gels for us to use. The property was in a great location ideal for the tube.
