This four-star apartment feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed place than a typical hotel experience. The Victorian building has that solid London character you’d expect, but inside it’s been thoughtfully updated without losing its charm.

The Space Itself

You get three proper bedrooms here, which is actually pretty rare to find in this part of London without paying through the nose. The main room is spacious enough that you won’t feel like you’re stepping over suitcases, and there’s a kitchen that’s actually functional — I mean, you could cook a proper meal if you wanted to. The living area connects everything nicely, and the windows let in decent light even on those typical grey London days.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I really like about Glenrosa Street — you’re close enough to Chelsea that you can walk there in about fifteen minutes, but you’re not paying Chelsea prices. Fulham Broadway tube station is nearby, so getting into central London is straightforward. The neighborhood has that residential feel where you’ll see locals walking their dogs and grabbing coffee, not just tourists with maps looking confused.

Local Area

Honestly, this part of Fulham is one of those areas that feels like actual London rather than tourist London. There’s a Tesco just down the road for basics, and if you walk toward Fulham Road, you’ll find some decent pubs and cafes. The King’s Road in Chelsea is where you’ll want to go for shopping and that classic London experience, but it’s nice having this quieter base to come back to.

What really works here is the space and the flexibility. You’re not cramped into a hotel room where you’re living out of suitcases for a week. "Lovely clean, comfortable property in a great location."
Lovely clean, comfortable property in a great location. Had to collect from and drop the keys back to from a shop approx 8 min walk away which wasn't mentioned in the details but it wasn't a problem, just a short detour on the way. Hosts responsive. Would recommend and will be contacting again when we are working in the area.

"Great location, Property needs a little care"
Great location with easy access to public transport, and the property was lovely and clean on arrival. The communication with the owners was also very good, they were always quick to respond.
What could be improved: Key collection and drop off is a 10 minute walk from the property, which isn't ideal when carrying luggage. I feel this could be written somewhere on the property description, rather than finding out half an hour before collection. The property could do with a little updating throughout. The blind in one of the bedrooms was stuck to the wall with command strips that kept coming off! Lots of stain marks on the sofa. The beds weren't comfy. They were very firm, and there was only one pillow per person.

"Would be good to improve the equipment"
The location is in a quiet part of London, the train station is about a 5-minute walk away. You can be in central London in about 30 minutes by train and tube. Tesco store nearby.
What could be improved: We didn't meet the host at all so I can't judge. Had to walk to the store for a keys, which was quite far from the accommodation. It's not very pleasant after a long journey with suitcases. The apartment has no cupboards for storing things. No hairdryer - quite a major problem for 6 women :-) The beds are quite narrow for 2 people. The dishes were poorly washed after the previous visitor. We were very surprised by the coffee table in the living area, which wobbled so much that we were afraid to touch it lest it fall apart. One of the chairs was also swaying. Broken lid at the trash can. One toilet paper for 6 people for 3 nights is not enough.

Die Einrichtung, Betten, Tisch, Stühle waren sehr schön und bequem.
What could be improved: Die Dachfenster ließen sich fast nicht schließen bzw. das Fenster im Treppenhaus lässt sich nicht schließen.
