I wasn’t expecting much from the name — sounds a bit generic, right? — but this apartment actually delivers something quite special. The location on a quiet residential street in Southwark means you get that authentic London neighborhood feel without the tourist crowds.
The Space
The room setup is honestly perfect for anyone who wants more than just a hotel box. That king bed they mention? It’s properly comfortable, and the whole place feels like someone’s stylish home rather than a rental. What really sold me was the way they’ve done the interiors — modern without being sterile, you know? The kitchen is actually functional too, which is rare in London accommodations at this price point.
The Garden Experience
Here’s where this place really shines — the garden and outdoor dining area. I mean, having your own private outdoor space in London is basically gold dust, especially in Southwark. The setup isn’t huge, but it’s thoughtfully done with proper seating where you can actually have your morning coffee or evening wine. During my stay, I found myself spending way more time out there than I’d planned.
Location & Getting Around
Southwark gets overlooked by a lot of visitors, but honestly, that’s their loss. You’re close enough to Borough Market for weekend browsing (seriously, go hungry), and the Thames Path is right there for those riverside walks that make you feel like a proper Londoner. The transport links are solid — Denmark Hill station isn’t far, and you’ve got buses that’ll get you into central London without the Tube crush during rush hour.

This four-star spot works because it gives you space to breathe while still being connected to everything London offers. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you experience it — it’s those little details like actually having somewhere to sit outside, a proper bed, and a neighborhood that feels real rather than touristy. "Perfect location and affordable area that was convenient for a long stay in London!"
The communication with the host was great and they even allowed us to check in early which allowed us to get ready to explore London quickly! The location was close to places to eat and get groceries, along with close to bus stops that took us to all the main attractions. The home was cleaned and the bed was comfortable. It also had an ironing board and iron which helped. Overall it was a great experience and conveniently located.
What could be improved: Nothing.

Great location next to supermarkets and restaurants and short travel to nearby events that we attended, facilities were nice and considered, everything you could need for a short stay, iron, toothpaste, teabags, coffee maker etc, cute little working nook with desk. The outdoor seating given nice weather was lovely.
What could be improved: It needs some love, some broken glass bedside cabinets (taped up), missing plug from one side lamp so the lighting was messed up, very old furniture etc, no water pressure in kitchen sink, lack of decoration in the bedroom, some artwork on the walls would make the room more attractive, as it lacked anything on the walls, portable mirror or standing mirror in bedroom would be handy, lampshade in the bedroom would also help the aesthetic, the hammock pictures in the photos was not hung up which was misleading and disappointing, some garden candle holders were smashed which was a choice not to replace.

"Convenient stay for our visit to London."
Lovely sun trapped garden to sit out in, Very Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, very close to Camberwell shops, but didn't feel too noisy.
What could be improved: It is an old house, with the flat in the basement, so you did hear people walking around upstairs. It wasn't intrusive but it was noticeable.
It would be nice to have a sofa or comfy chairs to sit in, in the Kitchen / dining area rather than the small dining table, but we knew what the flat offered when we booked it.

La cocina está muy bien equipada. La ubicación es fantástica. Rápidamente en bus al centro y rodeado de comercios y restaurantes.
What could be improved: El baño es pequeño y los radiadores de pared no calientan mucho, el enchufable sí.

"Satisfatorio com um ótimo custo benefício."
A localização foi excelente para o que eu precisava. Proximo a restaurantes e bares, além de ter um supermecado do lado o que facilitou minha viagem!
What could be improved: O jardim não estava limpo e arrumado, é um detalhe pequeno, mas que aprecio em locais com espaços abertos, mas a temeratura também não estava favorável para ficar em ambiente externo!
