Castle Road is one of those quiet residential streets where you can actually hear yourself think, which is refreshing if you’ve been dealing with London’s chaos. The thing about Dagenham is that it gets overlooked, but you’re only about 30 minutes from central London by train — and honestly, having guaranteed parking in this area is worth its weight in gold. There’s a Tesco just around the corner, and I mean literally around the corner, which saved me multiple times when I needed basics.

The Space That Works

What struck me first was how the two bedrooms actually feel like separate spaces — not just boxes with beds shoved in them. The main room has decent natural light, and they’ve managed to fit in proper storage without making everything feel cramped. The living area flows nicely into the kitchen, which has everything you’d expect: full-size fridge, proper cooktop, even a dishwasher that actually works well.

Easy access with garden and fully equipped.
What could be improved: The bath mat in the bath tub was slippery, if possible need to replace a sturdy one.

Well equipped and kitted out apartment with pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay and more!
What could be improved: Only one minus was that it was near a busy road. So at night time it was a bit noisy for us.

The place was lovely and beyond expectation ,lovely location ,just next a pub i would call a small east africa ..the place was easy to locate and accessible even by foot..aweome host lovely home ...Awesome ...Keep up the Good work.
What could be improved: I tried to reach host and the neighbour to explain what happened .. after a key snapped by accident and they instead sent me a bill , i am ready to pay for the repair as its not an issue to change a lock..but the bill is kinda off to high...

"Superb little apartment. Highly recommended."
It was like a home from home. Very well kept and very easy to be comfortable there. The facilities were great and the bed was very comfortable. Location was also key for us and it was within easy reach of our concert venue. Local shops were within a 5 minute walk and there was a nice cafe there for us to grab breakfast.
What could be improved: The road noise from the 3 lane road was hard to get used to at night, but that's probably because I live in the middle of a field with no main roads close to me!

Great location for commuting into the City and Excel. On the district line and the station not too far. Very nice place, easy to access and fully equipped (more than most). 2 great beds, super kitchen and comfy lounge. Ticked all of the boxes, thanks to the host Olivia, always available if needed. Added bonus car parking.
What could be improved: Not a good pub close by, but cant have it all!!
