First Impressions
The Modern 1 Bed Apartment – US Embassy, Nine Elms & Battersea Station sits right in the heart of one of London’s most rapidly changing neighborhoods. I’ll be honest — Nine Elms used to be pretty industrial and uninspiring, but wow, has this area transformed. Walking up to Andrew Place, you’re surrounded by gleaming new developments and cranes still putting up more towers, which gives the whole area this buzzing, almost electric energy.
Location & Getting Around
What really sold me on this three-star spot is how stupidly easy it is to get anywhere. Battersea Power Station tube is literally a few minutes’ walk — I mean, you can practically see it from the building. The new Northern Line extension has been a game-changer for this part of town, honestly. You’re at Westminster in about 10 minutes, and getting to central London doesn’t feel like the trek it used to be from south of the river.
The Apartment
The apartment itself is exactly what you’d expect from a modern build — clean lines, decent-sized windows, and that slightly generic but totally functional vibe. The kitchen is compact but has everything you actually need if you’re planning to cook (which I did a few times, grabbing ingredients from the Tesco just down the road). The bedroom’s comfortable enough, though don’t expect tons of character — it’s more about practical comfort than charm, you know?
The Neighborhood Experience
Here’s what I found interesting about staying here: you’re right next to the US Embassy, which gives the area this weird international feel. There are always people in suits walking around speaking different languages, and security is pretty visible — but in a way that actually makes you feel safer walking around at night. The riverside walk along the Thames is gorgeous, especially if you head toward Battersea Park Bridge at sunset. Actually, that walk became my favorite part of each day.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy place you’ll ever stay, but it delivers on what matters. The transport links are brilliant, the apartment is clean and functional, and you’re paying London prices that won’t completely destroy your budget. Plus, being in Nine Elms means you’re watching a piece of London history unfold — this area’s changing so fast that it’ll probably look completely different in five years. It’s sort of exciting to be part of that transformation, even just as a visitor.

"Good"
Very clean and feels newly redecorated. Nice bathroom and kitchen. Had everything we needed.
What could be improved: A little difficulty with incorrect codes when checking in but host was quickly available to help.
There were some noisy generators next door which disturbed our sleep.

"Decent modern flatlet with kitchenette"
Small but warm Cosy safe neat flatlet with good bathroom iClose to Nine elms subway and The beautiful Battersea power station . The management of Longview Leverage are finally trying their best to meet international standards
They have challenges with their cleaning companies
Need to step up to keep up .
What could be improved: Overpriced . Too small for 3 adults .Cannot move around I the bedroom let alone place luggage .
Cannot open curtains and windows due to privacy issues . Sofa bed is hard .

What could be improved: - noisy at nights
- sofa is horrible to sleep so we ended up sleeping 3 in the bed and one in the sofa. It's not comfortable at all.
- small, you should only go if you do not mind noise at night and if you are a couple.
- the area is not great either.

"Poor"
The location was good, easy to get around London. The host was quick to reply to any enquiries.
What could be improved: There is no way this can be advertised for 4 people. One of our group ended up sleeping on the floor because there was not enough room for them.
When we arrived they had left a drying unit on which turned the room into a sauna and there was no way to cool the place down (it was 30°c in London that day) and you can’t open the windows due to privacy and the smell of the bins on the street.

Très bien placé (zone 1 métro) et très safe comme quartier, même tard le soir.

"Bien pour visiter Londres en quelques jours !"
L’emplacement à proximité du métro (5 min), arrêt de bus au bout la rue, commerce à pied.
L’équipement de la cuisine et dans l’ensemble, la grande salle de bain.
Literie de la chambre confortable.
Logement suffisant pour 3 ou 4 jours.
La communication simple et facile avec le propriétaire disponible.
What could be improved: Ce n’est pas adapté à 4 personnes (couple avec 2 grands enfants 16 et 19 ans). Le canapé convertible n’est pas du tout confortable pour dormir (pas de matelas), et trop petit.
Poêle et casseroles ne sont pas adaptés à la plaque de cuisson (ne chauffent pas).
La rue de l’appartement peu accueillante (poubelles devant le portail en permanence) et sales. L’insonorisation (bruit de l’appartement du dessus et déplacement des poubelles pour le stationnement des véhicules devant les fenêtres). Pas de vue.

"Pleasant"
La ubicación está muy bien cerca de paradas de bus y de metro, el apartamento en general está bien.
What could be improved: La placa vitrocerámica no funcionaba, hablamos con el dueño pero no solucionó nada, con lo que cocinamos en horno, tampoco tiene cafetera, importante para el desayuno, y el sofá cama es bastante duro, es solo para una persona.

"Buena, aceptable para quedarse pocos días. La ubicación es inmejorable."
El lugar es pequeño y acogedor, el anfitrión muy amable. Lo mejor de todo es la ubicación, hay tiendas para abastecerte durante tu estadía y las paradas de autobuses a 1min y la estación de metro Nine-elms a 10min caminando, para realizar tus visitas turísticas.
What could be improved: El precio. Si bien la ubicación es buena, el lugar no compensa el alto precio que se paga
