Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Marriott Executive Apartments London, Canary Wharf, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical hotel setup. The lobby has that polished corporate feel you’d expect in London’s financial district, but there’s something more welcoming about it — probably because you know you’re getting an actual apartment rather than just a standard hotel room. The staff genuinely seem to understand that most guests are here for extended stays, so there’s less of that rushed check-in energy you get elsewhere.
Location & the Canary Wharf Scene
Here’s the thing about staying in Canary Wharf — it’s either perfect for you or completely wrong, depending on what you’re after. If you’re doing business in the financial district, honestly, you can’t beat the location. You’re walking distance to most of the major office towers, and the transport links are brilliant — Canary Wharf tube station is right there, plus you’ve got the DLR connections. The area does get pretty quiet after office hours though, which some people love and others find a bit sterile.
The Apartment Experience
What I really appreciated about this four-star setup is that you get proper apartment living with hotel services. Each unit comes with a full kitchen, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying for more than a couple of nights. The kitchens are actually well-equipped too — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. The living spaces feel genuinely livable, with separate seating areas and work spaces that don’t feel like afterthoughts.
Amenities & Practical Bits
The gym is decent enough for a quick workout, and there’s a restaurant on-site if you can’t be bothered to cook or venture out. I mean, the food’s fine but nothing spectacular — you’re really paying for the convenience factor here. Parking is available, which in this part of London is actually quite valuable, though you’ll pay for it. The business center and meeting rooms are properly set up if you need to handle work stuff without trekking to an office.
Why Guests Love It
What sets this place apart is that it actually delivers on the extended-stay concept without feeling like a compromise. You get the space and independence of an apartment rental, but with housekeeping, concierge services, and all the reliability of a major hotel brand. For business travelers especially, there’s something reassuring about being able to cook your own breakfast or spread out properly in the evening. The Wharf itself might not be the most charming part of London, but if you need to be here for work, this is honestly one of the better ways to do it comfortably.

"Comfortable and great location"
Very comfortable bed, spacious room, nice toiletries, excellent location for the O2 and other transport connections around Canary Wharf and central. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was tasty
What could be improved: There was no coffee machine, only instant coffee, in the room - I would have expected a machine for the price and type of hotel. Breakfast was a little expensive for the style and quality of food - which was tasty, but nothing different, extra delicious or special.

"Great accommodation with great location and amazing staff, especially Charlie who was welcoming and informative"
The size of the apartment was outstanding and the location was perfect for us
What could be improved: The tv wasn’t working but assured that they was going to be mended for the next people in there

"Great night in Docklands"
Great location, friendly staff.
What could be improved: Booked an apartment for 3 and there was only 1 bed. I ended up having to pay additional £50 for Z bed which wasn’t very comfortable.

Aaron on your front desk / concierge is absolutely fantastic and was wonderful to my family throughout our stay from check in to check out. He was kind, courteous and particularly wonderful with our young son and made him feel very special. Thank you Aaron for your attentiveness and for going the extra mile to make our stay that much better.
Also appreciated that we were able to check in early and given a quayside view room which we had requested before check in. It's the little things like this that elevate a stay from ok to great.
What could be improved: Only criticisms:
-no milk packets in kitchenette for tea and coffee
-basin in bathroom had rusty drain ring which would benefit from changing
-only one bathrobe for three guests

Location was great. Breakfast good, especially omelette chef was great. Rooms were big and comfy.
What could be improved: Gym and sauna were not operational. One room was on the corner where the noice from train track was audible and bothering throughout the night

"Good"
Great location. Spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Overall, it was a good stay, but a few annoying things we found that would be easily rectified.
What could be improved: There were too few cups and glasses for the number of people it accommodates. The sofa also needs recovering/repairing. No plug in the sink is ok, but a washing up bowl would be a good compromise. Returned back on a sat evening at 11.30pm, I expected to be able to get a drink, but the bar was closed. It was a bit disappointing for a Saturday night closed before 11.30pm even though they advertised the bar open until midnight. There was no offer to buy a drink and take up to the room either just a flat "bar closed" from the staff.

"Comfortable and great value"
Executive apartments offered great space, with separate lounge/ kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and hallway. For the money we will definitely return. Great location for concerts or events at The O2
What could be improved: The apartments were slightly out dated
