Maison Rokxy – Luxury Apartments caught me off guard — in the best way possible. You know when you’re walking down a Camden street expecting just another place to crash, and then you stumble onto something that feels more like a friend’s incredibly well-appointed apartment? That’s exactly what happened here on Swinton Street.
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, the location is what sold me on this place. You’re right in London‘s Camden, but tucked away from the tourist chaos that swirls around Camden Market. I mean, you can still hit the market in about ten minutes on foot, but you’re not dealing with the noise at night. King’s Cross St. Pancras is literally a fifteen-minute walk — I timed it because I’m obsessive like that — which makes this spot ridiculously handy for getting anywhere in the city.
The Space
What strikes you immediately is how these aren’t just hotel rooms with a kitchenette shoved in the corner. The four-star setup here actually feels like someone’s home, if that someone has impeccable taste and a decent budget. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen — not some sad mini-fridge situation — so you can actually cook if you want to save money or just fancy a quiet night in with groceries from the Sainsbury’s down the street.
What Makes It Special
The design hits that sweet spot between modern and livable. I’ve stayed in places that look great in photos but feel sterile in person — this isn’t one of them. The room I had felt spacious enough to spread out my stuff without everything looking like a disaster, and the bed was genuinely comfortable (not just “hotel comfortable”). There’s also decent parking nearby, which anyone who’s tried to navigate London by car will appreciate, though honestly the transport links here make a car pretty unnecessary.
Why Guests Love It
Here’s the thing — with a 9.1 rating, you’d expect this place to be doing something right, and it really is. The staff actually seem to care about making your stay work, not just checking boxes. Plus, there’s something refreshing about having your own space to retreat to after a day of dealing with London crowds. You get the independence of an Airbnb but with the reliability of a proper hotel, which is honestly the best of both worlds when you’re in a city this size.

"A wonderful stay in a perfect appartement served by a great team!"
We couldn‘t have made a better choice. I don’t know how often I‘ve been in London (at least 15 times), but this was by far the best accomodation I‘ve been to.
The team of Yannis, Partik and Hussein did everything that our stay was so comfortable and perfect. Only 10 Minutes away from Kingscross the location is ideal to explore London. The appartement offered almost everything what makes a stay perfect. A good knife and a cutting board are the only things I‘ve missed, but I‘m very sure, that they would have brought these items, if I asked for it.
All in all - for our next stays in London, I don‘t have to look for another accompdation. 😊

"Great value for money"
I really loved my stay here! The place was exactly as shown in the photos – super clean and nicely equipped with great products. The staff were ever so friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
It’s a basement flat, so naturally a bit dark, but I had already gathered that from the photos, so it wasn’t a surprise and didn’t bother me at all.
Apart from that, everything was very good. The location is amazing – only about a 10-minute walk to the station.
What could be improved: the noise from upstairs – the internal structure is wooden, so every movement and creak came through clearly and loudly, almost as if the sound was travelling and amplifying as it came down. It woke me up a few times when guests were walking in the room.

Lovely hosts and great attention, beautiful apartment, located close to King’s Cross St. Pancras station, great connection to public transport, kitchen included, great beds, many luxurious details like make of kitchen, hair dryer, shampoo etc.

"Superb"
The apartment is around a 10-minute walk from King's Cross Station. While not that spacious, the apartiment is very clean, exquisitely decorated, and the bed is comfortable. It includes cooking facilities, making it good for family vacation. The host is very warm and helpful.
