Luxury Soho Apartment R3
First Impressions
Walking up to Luxury Soho Apartment R3 on Rupert Street, you might actually walk right past it — which is sort of the point. This three-star apartment sits quietly among the madness of central London, tucked between a vintage record shop and what looks like it’s been a pub since the 1800s. There’s no grand lobby or doorman, just a discreet entrance that makes you feel like you’re visiting a friend who happens to live in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the world.
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, the location is pretty ridiculous — I mean that in the best way possible. You’re literally in the heart of Soho, where Chinatown spills into Piccadilly Circus, and everything you’d want to do in London is within a five-minute walk. Leicester Square’s theaters, Covent Garden’s street performers, Oxford Street’s shopping chaos — it’s all right there. The thing is, once you step inside, all that noise just… disappears.
The Space
The room itself feels more like a proper London flat than a hotel stay. There’s a compact but surprisingly well-equipped kitchenette where you can actually make a decent cup of coffee (thank god, because London coffee shop prices will bankrupt you). The bed takes up most of the space, but it’s comfortable enough that I didn’t mind the cozy quarters. What I really appreciated were the little touches — proper blackout curtains that actually work, and a bathroom with decent water pressure, which isn’t always a given in older London buildings.
Daily Life
You know what’s great about staying here? You can grab groceries from the Tesco Express around the corner and have breakfast in your pajamas, or walk thirty seconds to find yourself surrounded by some of London’s best dim sum places. The neighborhood comes alive at different times — quiet mornings when the street cleaners are finishing up, bustling afternoons when tourists flood the area, and evenings when the locals reclaim their pubs. Having your own little space means you can experience all of it without being stuck in the middle of it.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to win any design awards, and if you need room service and daily housekeeping, you’ll be disappointed. But if you want to live like a Londoner for a few days — making your own schedule, popping out for groceries, coming home to your own space after a long day of walking — this place actually makes a lot of sense. The 8.5 rating speaks for itself: people get what they’re signing up for, and most of them love the independence it offers. Plus, when you tell people you stayed in Soho, they’ll be properly impressed, even if your accommodation was more practical than glamorous.
Exploring London blends royal heritage, UNESCO landmarks, and vibrant neighborhoods glowing with golden-hour light.
