When I first pulled up to Luxury London Oasis on Park Road, I’ll be honest — I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. It sits quietly in Hornsey, which isn’t exactly the tourist trail most people follow. But step inside, and you realize this four-star gem is doing something completely different from the usual London hotel scene.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually living like a local. Finsbury Park is just a short walk away, and you know what? That’s where real Londoners go to breathe. The area has this authentic North London vibe with proper pubs and corner shops that haven’t been gentrified to death. The Tube connection at Finsbury Park gets you into Central London in about 15 minutes, but honestly, you might find yourself wanting to explore the neighborhood instead.
The Room Experience
My room was this perfect blend of contemporary design and actual comfort — not just Instagram-worthy furniture you can’t actually use. The bed was genuinely excellent, which matters more than people admit when you’re dealing with London’s pace. What struck me was the attention to lighting; they’ve got it figured out with multiple sources so you’re not stuck with harsh overhead lights or trying to read by a dim bedside lamp.
Service & Amenities
The staff here gets it — they’re helpful without hovering, professional without being stuffy. There’s a small spa area that feels more like a personal retreat than a commercial facility. The parking situation is actually manageable here (which, if you’ve driven in London, you’ll appreciate), and they’ve thought through the little things that make a difference after a long day of sightseeing.

Look, this isn’t where you stay if you want to roll out of bed and be at Big Ben in five minutes. But if you want to experience London beyond the tourist bubble while still having a genuinely comfortable base, this place delivers. 5/5 stars from my sister, fiancée, and mom, which is very rare given the high standard they have for cleanliness.
Very well equipped with spices, kitchen utensils, well heated, comfortable to stay, no noise when we were there. Cleaning liquids for dishes and laundries are there. Neighbourhood is actually pretty good despite how it looks from google map. .
The host Simon, is responsive when closer to the booking date, and we communicated via WhatsApp. He even kindly offered to help during the checkout process. Overall good experience. If you're okay with staying a bit further up north I recommend.
What could be improved: The only thing that caught me off guard is that the rented apartment has two floors and the base floor can be reached by about two sets of stairs, so it will be challenging for those like us with luggages. The big bedroom requires another set of stairs to reach.
This is all likely already written in the description, it was just not obvious to me when I booked it.
We weren't able to stop our car, even temporarily, in front of the building, given that the road is quite narrow. We had to stop at either streets nearby, however it is a short walk.
It usually takes about 7-10 minutes to secure an Uber XL to drive us to the city, much harder to get the usual Uber to travel around that area. Uber journey to the city can vary from 30-40 minutes to more than an hour during peak time

The place is perfect for staying in London. The flat was perfectly clean and there was everything we needed. Great location for a transport to the city centre. On the street, there is a grocery shop and a bakery.
The owner was very kind and helpful during whole stay. Good price for perfect quality. We recommend.

Beautiful, well laid out, perfectly clean and included luxurious amenities and thoughtful details. The caretaker for the property was wonderful and Crouch End has everything you could possibly need within a short but lovely walk.

"Great stay"
The location was great, lots of shops, restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores within walking distance. We felt well connected to the transport systems, short walk to multiple bus stops, and a short bus ride to Finsbury to get anywhere in the country.
The home was very comfortable for us. We were 5 adults, and everyone was happy with the choice. Beds were great, fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed.
Simon was a great host and helped with anything we needed. 100% would return!!

"Loved it!"
Beautiful property, modern & clean. Had all the facilities you need. Great location on the skirts of Crouch End township.
What could be improved: The stairs were the only thing we had a little trouble with. If you have bad knees &/or hips it is a struggle but it’s not different to most other places in London.

Location suited us as we needed to be close to Alexandra Palace. Very nice area with lots of shops, restaurants etc
