Overview
First Impressions
The Luxury Camden Apartment E2 sits right on Eversholt Street, and honestly, the name’s a bit misleading — this is more of a solid apartment-style stay than anything truly luxurious. But you know what? That’s actually fine by me. It’s a three-star place that knows what it is, and there’s something refreshing about that kind of honesty in London‘s often overpriced accommodation scene.
The Location Game
Here’s the thing about Camden — you’re either going to love the energy or find it completely overwhelming. This spot puts you right in the thick of it, which means you’ll hear the buzz from the street, especially on weekends when the markets are in full swing. The tube connections are actually pretty decent from here, and you can walk to Camden Market in about ten minutes if you don’t mind navigating through the crowds of tourists taking photos of everything.
The Space Itself
The room setup is what you’d expect from an apartment-style place — there’s a basic kitchenette that’ll handle your morning coffee and maybe some simple meals, though I wouldn’t plan on cooking anything too elaborate. The space feels lived-in rather than hotel-polished, which some people love and others… well, don’t. I mean, it’s clean and functional, but don’t expect those crisp hotel linens or perfectly arranged throw pillows.
Practical Considerations
The 7.8 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re paying versus what you get in this part of London. Parking is going to be your biggest headache if you’re driving — I’d honestly recommend just using public transport instead. The building itself is one of those converted Victorian places, so expect some quirks like slightly uneven floors and the occasional creaky floorboard that’ll remind you this isn’t a shiny new development.
Why Guests Choose It
Look, this isn’t the place for a romantic getaway or if you’re trying to impress business clients. But if you want to experience Camden without paying West End prices, and you don’t mind trading some polish for authenticity, it works. The local pubs are actually worth exploring — there’s this great little place called The Black Cap just down the road that most tourists never find. You’ll save enough on accommodation to actually enjoy what London has to offer, which honestly seems like the smarter play to me.
Locals suggest to book apartments in London around South Bank for riverside dining, market stops, and easy city crossings.

"Good location, spacious"
It was nice, clean and spacious. Internet wifi was good, location close to the tube and close to all necessary shopping. The host was great with communicating all the necessary information.
What could be improved: The TV tuner didn't work, in that you couldn't watch British TV stations, but netflix and YouTube worked well.

"Good location for a city trip"
Great location in Camden, with the subway just around the corner and very close to King’s Cross/St. Pancras Station—perfect for getting around the city. The place was nice, modern, and clean. Check-in was very easy with the keys conveniently stored in a lockbox.
What could be improved: We were three people, and unfortunately, the sofa bed was broken, so one of us had to sleep on the floor for the entire week. Also, the living room faces the street, and with a club on the corner, it gets very loud at night. Since there’s no A/C, you’ll need to keep the window open on hot nights like the ones we had, which makes it very difficult to get a good night’s rest due to the noise.
The apartment is also missing some basic kitchen essentials: there’s no coffee maker, oven mitts, or a pasta strainer—small things that could really improve the overall experience.

"Overall was a good stay."
Great location, clean, tidy and everything that was described.
What could be improved: The pull out bed was broken, so either had to prop it up with the chair or slept on the floor with the mattress. Host was responsive however it was unable to be fixed during our stay. The mattress was comfortable nonetheless, so wasn’t an issue really. Also check in process could have been better. We received no information prior to a standard check in time, we had to call and message to get the lock box code and then figure the rest out ourselves.

"Very good"
What could be improved: The administrative part was not very good. I was provided with 2 wrong PIN numbers to unlock the problematic door.
Then the WiFi Code on the Router was also wrong. These are simple things that need and can be fixed very easly.
What you can mit fix without an investment is the noise. Until late in the night and all night Longoria someone can hear everything and very loud from the street

"Clean and comfortable apartment in a great location."
Close proximity to tube stop. Excellent location.
Comfortable bed and bed settee.
Lovely bathroom with good shower and some toiletries provided.
TV connected to WiFi, so streaming channels were easily available.
Good kitchen amenities too.
What could be improved: We were a little disappointed that there were no basic supplies for the kitchen, e.g. tea, coffee, milk sachets. There were shops close by but it would have been nice to have a starter pack available on arrival.

"Great 1 bed apartment with some slight improvements needed"
The location was perfect. I could easily walk from the station and straight into Camden. Located right next to the tube station as well.
The apartment was very clean and well maintained, and there was lots of space for a 1 bed apartment.
Check-in was very easy and good communication with the host.
12pm check out time is great, too.
What could be improved: Bed was super uncomfortable. The mattress has unfortunately broken on one side, so it made 2 of us sleeping there very difficult and uncomfortable.
The sofa bed was broken in the lounge, which meant you couldn't see down on the couch properly either.
Replacing both of these would massively improve on the stay.
Could do with some fans, etc, as it does get really warm, but with it being located on a main road, having the windows open meant it was very noisy.

"Very well located, very smart & stylish place to stay for a couple"
Just renovated, very clean & smart
What could be improved: The communal hallway of the building could do with tidying, but that is not the responsibility of the apartment owners, and did not really detract from what was an excellent stay.

"Well maintained apartment, great host, but due to noisy & busy street not as suitable for families"
I couldn't praise the host more, very responsive, kept in constant contact, checking how the stay was, that we checked in ok etc. We asked for a travel cot and it was set up and waiting for us on arrival, so all great. The apartment is well maintained, lovely bathroom and decent sized bedroom and lounge. With shops walking distant and easy access.
What could be improved: The location of the apartment probably isn't suitable for a young family (like we were) due to the fact that is on a busy street in Camden London. The apartment is located near a club called Koko, and has a few bars and restaurants which would be great if you were going out. You can hear the underground going through, every few minutes, and we were woken up 3 separate times by emergency services as they passed the street.
