Overview
First Impressions
Luxury and Stylish Ensuits sits on Royal College Street in London‘s Camden area, and honestly, the name tells you exactly what you’re getting. This three-star property spreads across three floors of a Victorian townhouse, and while it’s not trying to be the Ritz, it delivers on its promise of well-designed ensuite rooms. The entrance feels residential rather than hotel-like — which actually works in its favor once you settle in.
Location & Camden Vibes
You’re basically in the heart of Camden here, which means you’ll hear the buzz of the area without being right on top of the market madness. Royal College Street is one of those roads that locals use as a shortcut, so it feels authentically London rather than touristy. The Northern Line at Camden Town is a solid ten-minute walk, and you know what? Sometimes walking through the residential streets gives you a better feel for the neighborhood than jumping straight onto the Tube.
The Room Experience
Each room here is essentially a self-contained unit with its own ensuite — no shared facilities, which is honestly a relief at this price point. The styling leans modern without trying too hard, and the beds are comfortable enough that I actually slept well despite the street-facing windows. The bathrooms are compact but functional, and they’ve managed to fit everything you need without making it feel cramped.
Practical Details
There’s no traditional restaurant or room service here, but Camden’s food scene is literally on your doorstep. The property doesn’t offer parking — and honestly, you wouldn’t want to drive in this area anyway. What it does offer is value for money in a location where budget options often mean compromising on cleanliness or comfort. The staff keeps things running smoothly without being overly formal about it.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it knows what it is — a clean, comfortable base in Camden that doesn’t pretend to be more than that. You’re paying for the location and the privacy of your own ensuite, not for fancy amenities or concierge services. If you want to explore Camden Market, catch gigs at the venues nearby, or use this as a launching pad for the rest of London, Luxury and Stylish Ensuits gives you exactly what you need without the unnecessary extras that bump up the price elsewhere.

"Very good"
Lovely clean room, tea/coffee in room. Hair dryer, iron etc. Plenty of towels, comfy bed and nice pillows. Spacious, quiet area. Good communication and lots to eat and drink in the area. Good WiFi
What could be improved: Noisy upstairs but that is not the fault of the venue. Perhaps better signage for entry. Would like normal UK TV access, or how to find it.

"Perfect location for exploring Camden."
Location was absolutely perfect.
What could be improved: Very noisy people in the room next door and nothing to help with blocking out the noise.

"Good location for a short stay"
It was a perfect location, easy check in and super comfy bed. Staying just a few minute walk to Camden Locks.
What could be improved: The floors in the apartment we stayed(number 3)and above are really noisy. Carpet in a room is just covering something that has to be fixed. You can here clearly when someone is walking upstairs. We had a couple with toddlers running around, so it was not so easy to fall asleep. And the owner or manager didn’t bother to answer our message.

"Excellent location and staff, would definitely stay here again."
Very decent sized room and comfortable bed.
What could be improved: Blinds didn’t cover the whole of the window, and the bathroom was very small

"Would book here again!"
Great location, really quiet for being in walking distance of everything.
Barely heard the street at night, quietest and most comfortable room I've ever had in London.
Big room with all the utilities you need for a short stay, including xtra pillows and blankets.
Key code access so we could arrive whenever!

"Percent, cosy room"
On arrival we were a bit let down on the outside building as it looked very rundown and is in desperate need of a makeover - we were a bit scared to see what was inside.
After given the code via message and no trouble entering the property we were suprise on how nice it was.
We were in room 5. Was a bit small for a family of 4 but very adequate and equipped well.
We had a slight issue with cleanliness and no kettle, we sent a message to Leo via booking.com and he came out to sort the problem out straight away.
We had a double bed, a double sofa bed and a single chair that pulled out into a bed. Clean bedding for all.
An open plan wardrobe unit with hooks, shelves, and coat hangers. Also hairdryer and iron.
An open plan kitchen area with plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, cups, coffee/tea and kettle, microwave and fridge.
A very small private bathroom with shower that was lovely and warm.
It was perfect and comfortable for us and we would definitely stay again.
In a great location.
What could be improved: More TLC in the room - cleaning needs to be inspected before guests arrive.
No bedside table - lamp on floor.
No mirror on wall (we changed it for the clock that didn't work) !
