This isn’t your typical cramped London apartment — the two bedrooms are genuinely spacious, and the open-plan living area feels almost generous by city standards. What impressed me most was the kitchen, which is properly equipped (not just a tiny kitchenette situation). You know what’s rare in London rentals? Counter space where you can actually prepare a meal, and this place delivers on that front.

Location Reality Check

Here’s the thing about the location — you’re technically in Kensington and Chelsea, but you’re really on the edge of Notting Hill and Maida Vale. It’s a quieter stretch, which I actually preferred to being right in the tourist chaos of Portobello Road. The canal’s a five-minute walk away, and honestly, those morning walks along Little Venice became the highlight of my stay. Paddington Station is close enough that you’re not wrestling with the Tube for airport runs.

What Works (and What Doesn’t)

The modern fixtures and finishes feel properly done — not the cheap renovation job you sometimes get in London properties. Each room has good natural light, which is honestly half the battle in this city. The heating actually works efficiently, and there’s decent parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in London. I mean, street parking isn’t guaranteed, but the area’s not impossible like central zones.

Great location for our needs, lots of shops too. Comfortable living space and beds. Host was quick to respond when we had queries and was very accommodating with our requests.

"A stunning spacious modern home decorated and fitted to a very high spec"
The space - loads of it - the separate bathrooms , the roof top space , close to the tube, modern and very clean, the art work on the walls,everything you need in the kitchen…. The comfiest of beds ! And air con too ! We loved this property and a real gem to find in London !! We could live here !!

"Perfect space, great stay in a lovely home. Would love a place like this in London!"
The apartment was lovely and included everything we needed for our short stay. We slept well and found the check in/check out process smooth and efficient. Great communication with the host.
What could be improved: Nothing really - a small inconvenience would include a faulty door handle to the bathroom which locked by itself but I’m sure after reading this would be fixed asap.

"Comfortable and relaxing, as everything works."
Great location, less than 10 min walk to westbourne park train station, clean, luxury, everything worked and as described. 2 comfortable bedrooms located at diff levels, you have complete privacy. Hugh kitchen and living room equipped with modern fixtures. Large screen tv in the bedrooms and living room. Dave was super responsive and gave cleared instructions. We arrived at around 11 pm and he was standing by to ensure we had no issue checking in.
What could be improved: Bathroom is a bit tight, but sufficient. A minor issue.

"Loved our stay at this well-equipped apartment, a real home from home."
Really lovely apartment. Fully modernised, great facilities and appliances. Original artwork throughout. An ideal size for three adults or a family. Excellent transport links into central London. Enjoyed the comfy bedrooms and having two bathrooms a bonus, as was the early check-in on the day of arrival. Extremely quiet location but walking distance to amenities. Great communication with owner prior to booking and throughout our stay. Thanks for everything.

La situation proche de la gare de Paddington et du quartier de Notting Hill. Une jolie décoration et un volume habitable spacieux, mais ceci est pas en relation avec le reste.
What could be improved: La cuisine. Pleine d'affaires du propriétaire ou du précédent voyageur. Nourriture dans le frigo et qui sent mauvais (pas top...). Micro-ondes qui sent très fort la pizza et plein le plafond (affreux) et de l'eau stagnante dans la machine à café et la bouilloire. Pas de linge pour faire sa vaisselle ou introuvable. Pour moi, si on loue un appartement, on doit pouvoir se sentir en vacances, et pas comme si on débarque chez un pote qui t’a fait une petite place pour une soirée de passage. Il y a top d'affaires et on ne se sent pas en vacances. De plus, la terrasse est en mauvais état (UV ont détruit les brises vues) et la télévision pas utilisable sans une explication. Donc Netflix et autres ... Code requis et introuvable. Il y a aussi beaucoup de lumières HS. Je passe aussi le fait que l'appartement n'était pas prêt à 15h... mais à 17h15 !!
