Luxurious Living 4 Bedroom Home
First Impressions
Luxurious Living 4 Bedroom Home sits on a quiet residential street in Lewisham that honestly surprised me — I was expecting something a bit rougher around the edges, but Felday Road has this proper neighborhood feel that makes you forget you’re still technically in London. The house itself looks like what you’d imagine a well-kept Victorian terrace should be, with that solid British charm that doesn’t try too hard. You know what struck me first? How normal it felt, in the best possible way.
The Space
Walking inside, this unique boutique hotel without official star rating really delivers on that “home” promise in its name. Each room has its own personality — I mean, they’re clearly decorated by someone who actually lives in houses, not hotel rooms. The kitchen is probably the star here, honestly — it’s got everything you’d need if you’re the type who can’t function without proper coffee in the morning, and there’s enough space that four people aren’t bumping elbows trying to make breakfast. The whole place feels lived-in but pristine, if that makes sense.
Location Reality Check
Lewisham gets a bad rap sometimes, but this part is actually quite lovely — tree-lined streets, the kind of neighbors who nod hello, proper local pubs within walking distance. The DLR station is about a 10-minute walk, which puts you in Canary Wharf in 15 minutes or so (I timed it). Greenwich is practically next door, which I didn’t realize until I was here, and that’s a proper bonus if you’re into parks and maritime history.
What Works
The beds are comfortable — not hotel-stiff, more like staying at a friend’s place who has good taste in mattresses. There’s proper storage space, which sounds boring but you’ll appreciate it after a few days of living out of a suitcase. The WiFi actually works throughout the house, and there are enough plugs near the beds that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and having a bedside lamp. Small things, but they add up when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it splits the difference between a rental and a hotel experience. You get the independence of having your own space — nobody’s knocking on your door asking if you need towels — but without the hassle of dealing with a landlord or worrying about breaking something expensive. The whole setup works brilliantly for groups who want to stay together without cramming into tiny hotel rooms, and honestly, for families traveling with older kids who need their own space. At this price point in London, you’re usually looking at cramped quarters or sketchy neighborhoods, but this manages to avoid both pitfalls quite nicely.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
