Overview
First Impressions
I’ll be honest — when I first saw LushPen – O2 Arena Apartment tucked away on Cutter Lane, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a typical Greenwich residential street. But this four-star apartment really surprised me with how thoughtfully it’s been designed for travelers. The entrance feels more like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than checking into a generic hotel, which I actually found refreshing after all those cookie-cutter accommodations around London.
Location & Greenwich Charm
You know what’s great about staying in Greenwich? You’re literally a five-minute walk from the O2 Arena — I mean, you can practically hear the concerts from the street. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: this area has this lovely residential feel that’s completely different from central London’s chaos. The Cutty Sark and Greenwich Market are just down the road, and honestly, wandering through the covered market on a Sunday morning became one of my favorite parts of staying here.
The Space Itself
The room setup is where this place really shines — it’s more like having your own little London flat than staying in a hotel. The kitchen is actually functional (not one of those tiny hotel kitchenettes that can barely fit a coffee cup), so I ended up cooking breakfast a few times using ingredients from Greenwich Market. The living area flows nicely into the sleeping space, and there’s enough storage that I didn’t feel like I was living out of a suitcase for the week I was there.
Practical Considerations
Here’s something I appreciated — the parking situation is actually manageable, which anyone who’s driven in London will tell you is basically a miracle. The transport links are solid too; the DLR gets you into central London in about twenty minutes, though I found myself spending more time exploring Greenwich than I’d originally planned. The apartment stays pretty quiet even when there are events at the O2, which was a pleasant surprise given how close we are to the venue.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be the fanciest place you’ve ever stayed, but it gets the fundamentals really right. The 8.1 rating makes sense when you consider that you’re getting genuine value — space to spread out, a proper kitchen, and you’re in one of London’s most underrated neighborhoods. I ended up extending my stay an extra night just because I wasn’t ready to leave Greenwich behind, and honestly, that’s not something that happens to me very often when I’m traveling for work.
Exploring London blends royal heritage, UNESCO landmarks, and vibrant neighborhoods glowing with golden-hour light.

"Superb"
Location, privacy
What could be improved: No dislikes. Could have done by with a bit more cutlery, glassware, etc.

"Ok apartment if you want to stay at the O2 area."
Nice location considering I went there for an event in the InterContinental hotel. And the value I paid, considering it is London, was reasonable.
What could be improved: Host took a bit longer to meet me while they were finishing the cleaning (which was not superb). The room had not shades (during summer) and luckily I had my eye mask with me, otherwise I would not be able to sleep. And the main photo of the site is a pool, which I was a bit excited to use it but unfortunately it was not available, no part of the deal. This is a private home (apartment), it's clear from the ad but it is a bit weird to stay in someone's else home and have 'access' to all their belongings, including clothes.

"Great location but price excessive considering it’s someone’s home and breakfast not specifically included"
The location was very convenient for our stay as we were attending a concert at the O2. It was a nice touch having a balcony, the view was good and I found the bed very comfortable.
What could be improved: At the time of booking I was unaware that the property was actually someone’s home, as it’s not stated specifically in any of the descriptions. Due to this I think the price for a one night stay was largely excessive and the apartment was extremely basic, no tv or mirror in the bedroom, no blinds, the living room tv remote is on its last legs with duck tape wrapped around to keep it working, very basic breakfast (not purchased new for the stay - was all open packets that the home owner had used so wouldn’t say that breakfast is included specifically for your stay so shouldn’t be reflected in the price or description of the property). I know the homeowner meant no harm but during our stay I was messaged asking if he could come back to the apartment to pick up some of his clothes, as we were out at the time I didn’t see this until the following day, but having paid nearly £500 for just 1 night we should have been completely undisturbed during our stay. If the price was reduced significantly then we would stay again if we had another event at the O2, purely for the convenience of the location and the view.

"excellent location for a visit at the O2-Arena"
excellent location - very close to the O2-Arena, beautiful view with a balcony. A few minor equipment could be improved, but it did not lower the experience. I will be back and hope that it will be available when I need it.
What could be improved: only very minor things

"Mega-convenient but minimalist."
This is a fantastically located place to stay if you’re at an event the O2. Couldn’t be more convenient. It’s high up too and so has an astonishing view across the Thames OVER THE ROOF of the O2. It’s light and airy with plenty of space and has most of what you need for a self catering overnight stay (no toaster or hairdryer). It’s the first place we’ve come across that includes a printer in the furnishings.
What could be improved: I don’t think I’d be keen to stay for a longer period as its furnishings are extreme-minimal! (Eg, white walls with no artwork, nowhere to hang anything, no bedside tables or lamps).

Excellent location with amazing view, check in easy and Jay helpful and onsite for any problems.
What could be improved: Property as described, selection of cereals, bread ect but we brought our own. Plenty of restaurants and shops within 2 mins. Only negative was bed sheets could do with an iron and property owners personal items in property but ideal for crash pad.
