The Lovely&Bright Studio Flat Close to Central London lives up to its name — well, at least the bright part. Walking into this four-star studio on Laura Terrace, you’re immediately struck by how much natural light floods the space. It’s one of those apartment stays where you actually feel like you’re living in London rather than just visiting, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re exploring the city for more than a couple of days.
Location & Neighborhood
Hackney might not be the first area tourists think of, but that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re in a proper residential neighborhood where locals actually live — tree-lined streets, corner shops, the whole nine yards. The Brownswood Road area has this relaxed vibe that’s hard to find in more touristy parts of London. You know what I mean? You can grab your morning coffee without fighting through crowds of sightseers, but you’re still well-connected to everything you want to see.
The Space
The studio itself is thoughtfully laid out — and I mean that in the best possible way. There’s a proper kitchen setup that actually lets you cook real meals, not just heat up instant noodles. The room flows nicely from the sleeping area to the living space, and honestly, the storage is better than most London flats twice the size. Small touches like decent lighting and a comfortable chair make it feel more like a temporary home than a hotel room.
Getting Around
Transport links are solid without being overwhelming — you’ve got bus routes that’ll get you into central London in about twenty minutes, maybe thirty during rush hour. The nearest tube station requires a short walk or bus ride, but that’s actually refreshing after staying in places where you hear the Underground rumbling beneath you all night. Parking in the area is manageable if you’re driving, though honestly, you probably won’t need a car once you’re here.

What really sets this place apart is how it strikes that balance between authentic London living and tourist practicality. You’re experiencing the city like someone who actually lives here, but without sacrificing the amenities that make a stay comfortable. "Perfect place for a short stay in London!"
It’s tidy, perfectly organised and quite equipped for a short stay. The location is also convenient for taking the underground and the bus. Check in and check out we’re super simple, and the host was always responsive to our questions. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

"Superb"
We stayed at the studio as we were visiting our daughters and it was just perfect. Very cosy studio, super clean and very well managed. Close to two tube station, with direct connection to Heathrow airport. We will definitely stay here again ))

"Highly recommend!"
Lovely and spacious, tea/coffee provided and the host was genuine and welcoming. The beds were comfy, really clean and well looked after. Perfect little get away from the city centre and about a 10mins walk from Arsenal and Finsbury Park stations. Great little coffee shops around, on a bus route as well and in a nice area.
What could be improved: Not a complaint at all! Didn’t affect our stay in the slightest but would maybe suggest putting a blind up in the bathroom just for a bit more privacy, other than that it was perfect!

Good location and neighborhood. The place had everything you could need, well stocked. Check-in was easy and quick
What could be improved: The walk from the Tube station to the property although just 12 minutes, is through a very run down town centre area, and probably not safe to walk very late in the night

"Proceed with caution"
Kitchen was well equipped, half mile walk from metro, relatively quiet, and there was flexibility with login.
What could be improved: Apartment was hot with no air conditioning, the pull out bed was rickety, the washer was filthy, and the towels were old.
Host was the real problem. Entered property twice during visit to have electrician look at the layout and to instruct to close windows (remember it was hot). After checkout he falsely accused us of damaging the property. When we declined responsibility his attacks turned personal. I would recommend taking pictures of the apartment when you check in and check out to document the condition of everything.

"Vše v pořádku, můžeme doporučit"
Byt je skvěle vybavený vším potřebným pro krátkodobý i delší pobyt. V docházkové vzdálenosti metra (asi 10 min) ale když jste unaveni, tak jede od metra i bus primo pred byt. Fotky odpovídají. V blízkosti bytu jsou obchody s potravinami, restaurace i rychlé občerstvení.
