Overview
First Impressions
Lovely 2Bedroom 4mins from Wimbledon station caught me off guard — in the best way possible. I’ll be honest, when you see a place with such a straightforward name, you expect functional over fabulous. But this unique boutique hotel without official star rating delivers something genuinely special. The moment you step inside, there’s this warm, residential feel that makes you forget you’re staying in a hotel at all.
Location & Getting Around
The four-minute walk to Wimbledon station isn’t an exaggeration — I timed it myself. What makes this spot brilliant is how you’re perfectly positioned between the village charm of Wimbledon and quick access to central London. The area around Moffat Court has that lived-in London neighborhood vibe, with proper local pubs and coffee shops that tourists never find. You know what I mean — the kind of places where regulars actually know each other’s names.
The Space That Wins You Over
Here’s where this place really shines: the two-bedroom setup feels like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed London flat rather than a generic hotel room. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just a sad kettle and mini-fridge situation), which honestly saved me a fortune on London dining. I mean, being able to grab groceries from the nearby Waitrose and actually cook — that’s rare in central London accommodations.
Smart Details That Matter
The thoughtful touches here really add up. There’s proper parking available, which anyone who’s driven in London will appreciate as basically gold dust. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space — I was taking video calls from the bedroom without any issues. What struck me most was how everything felt intentionally chosen rather than bulk-ordered from a hotel supply catalog. Even the lighting creates this cozy atmosphere that makes evening wind-downs genuinely relaxing.
Why Guests Love It
That 4.9 rating isn’t just numbers — it reflects how this place gets the fundamentals right while adding personal touches that bigger hotels miss. You’re getting space to breathe, a real sense of being in London rather than floating above it, and honestly, value that’s hard to match in this part of the city. The combination of residential comfort with hotel convenience is pretty much perfect for anyone wanting to experience London like a temporary local rather than just another tourist.

"Glad to stay in wimbledon, apartment not value for money, generally poorly maintained."
Location is very good
What could be improved: Bathroom, hardly any water coming from the shower, no curtains, no handrails to support to go into bath to shower. Toilet pot is loose…table leg was broken, 1 couch only, not enough seats.

"There are many positives to this apartment, but some care and attention are needed to improve it."
The location was good and parking easily accessible and convenient. The playground was a bonus for families. The double beds were of a good size. The kitchen had ample appliances and having eating areas in both the kitchen and living room was a bonus.
What could be improved: The property was in poor repair. The toilet seat was unsteady, the walls were in need of repainting, doors were ill-fitting, a kitchen cupboard door missing and there was a general feel of lack of care. On opening the sofa bed, there were a significant number of crumbs left in it, thus making the cleaning questionable (particularly as there was a cleaning charge of £120). Sadly, the floor was also quite marked and attention needed to the bath taps and shower. Also disappointing was the quality of the cutlery and the lack of a freezer compartment in the fridge.

What could be improved: It was all bad but the toilet need fixing all it does is rock when you sit on it

"We had a comfortable stay. Location and style of the property not exactly what were looking for."
Our host was very helpful and easy to contact.
The property was very clean.
The beds were very comfortable.
The kitchen was equipped with everything we required.
What could be improved: We all thought the property was a bit more basic and functional than 'elegant'.
Some early morning noise from the car park adjacent to one of the ground floor bedrooms.
For 4 guests, the small, rather bare lounge only had one normal sized sofa.
Only one small shared 'loo; with no hand wash sink.
The property is 5 minutes by car from the station, but a 20/25 minute walk.

"A fantastic family holiday in a lovely spacious flat."
The flat was very spacious. 2 big bedrooms, a big kitchen and living room. Our 8 year old loved that he had a huge double bed all to himself and a massive TV in his room. One of his holiday highlights😂
The easy 10 min walk from Wimbledon train / tube station was great and two buses stops very close by the flat which was great on rainy days. It was also very conveniently located close to Haydons Road train station. All super handy to get out and about during our holiday. Another great convenience is the 5 min walk to a big Waitrose supermarket.
What could be improved: The only thing we would have appreciated was some form of coffee maker. A simple cafetière would have been fine. Otherwise the flat had everything we needed.

"Caits' family holiday"
It was very clean, comfortable and functional. Lots of cleaning supplies left for us to use. The kitchen was very spacious and separate from the living room which was great for the kids. The dishwasher worked efficiently and helped with easy clean up. It was located in close proximity to two bus stops, just a short walking distance away, which made it convenient to get to anywhere in Wimbledon. Also very close to supermarket and delicious foods such as the Italian and Chinese restaurants down the street. There was also a kids playpark located directly behind the apartment where the kids can enjoy some playtime. However, it seemed very underutilized by the residents. Overall, everyone loved it and enjoyed the stay. Definitely recommend.
What could be improved: The door for the second bedroom couldn't lock and wasn't staying closed, Which was a bit annoying. The lighting in this room could be improved a bit too, but then the window helped a bit with that during the day time. This bedroom was also a bit on the small side, very little walking space. However, the big bed made up for it. The toilet seemed a bit unsteady. Some of the cupboards in the kitchen definitely need a bit of sprucing up.

"Nice stay"
The location and kitchen and laundry facility
What could be improved: The toilet commode is broken.
More toilet tissues would have helped
Bath tub didn't have curtain and the floor would get wet

"I would recommend this property as it's difficult to find nice spacious accommodation"
Spacious ,comfortable, well equipped. Property had good quality appliances and was ideal for self catering . Netflix available on TV and free wifi. Beds were especially comfortable and large sized . Options of pull out beds to sleep more people .
What could be improved: Location is not ideal as it's a 25 minute walk from tube station. Slight smell of cigarette smoke in some areas and immediate vicinity is not really nice for walking around.

"Bad"
The property was very tired and in need of decorating. Poor water pressure so bath and shower are terrible. Could do with a good clean.
No shower curtain. Dining table had both table legs broken.
Cooker was gas and need matches to light it so dangerous. And certainly not worth the money I paid for it. Would like some compensation as felt very mislead by the advertised property.
What could be improved: All of the above IV written was my dislikes .
I coundnt actually say there was anything I liked about the property .
