Overview
First Impressions
I’ll be honest — the name London Luxury Apartments 1min walk from Underground, with FREE PARKING FREE WIFI is a bit of a mouthful, but it tells you everything you need to know upfront. This three-star property on Roding Lane South isn’t trying to be fancy, it’s trying to be practical, and honestly? That’s exactly what works about it. The building itself is pretty understated, but when you’re getting genuine convenience in London without breaking the bank, who cares about marble lobbies.
Location That Actually Makes Sense
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re technically in Zone 4, but the Redbridge Underground station is literally around the corner. I mean, they say one minute and it’s actually closer to two, but still. The Central line gets you into the heart of London in about 30 minutes, which beats sitting in traffic or paying congestion charges. Plus, this area feels properly residential, so you get a sense of what London life is actually like beyond the tourist bubble.
The Apartment Setup
Each apartment comes with its own kitchen, which honestly saves you a fortune when London meal prices hit you. The space feels more like someone’s actual flat than a hotel room — there’s proper storage, a decent-sized fridge, and enough counter space to actually cook something. The Wi-Fi works reliably (I tested it extensively), and the whole setup just feels more grown-up than your typical budget accommodation.
The Parking Situation
You know what’s rare in London? Free parking that’s actually free and actually available. I was skeptical at first, but there’s a proper designated space that comes with your booking. If you’re driving into London or renting a car for day trips, this alone probably saves you £20-30 per night compared to what you’d pay in central zones. The spots are behind the building, so your car feels secure too.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with a fancy spa or impress your Instagram followers, but it delivers on its promises without any nasty surprises. The value proposition is solid — you get space, connectivity, transport links, and parking for what you’d typically pay for a cramped hotel room somewhere less convenient. I’ve stayed in plenty of London places that charge twice as much for half the practical benefits. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just work properly rather than trying to be something they’re not.

"Great location"
The location was perfect, although it is now in the ULEZ zone. When we booked it, it wasn't!
The facilities were great, the beds were very comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the apartment was very clean.
It was literally the most perfect place to stay and the best place I've ever stayed whilst visiting London... until the 2nd night.
What could be improved: I would have given it a 10 out of 10, however, the second night we was there we realised the door we thought was a broom closet was actually a door to the apartment next door, our apartment neighbours kept trying to open the door, and we could hear EVERYTHING they were doing, we had a very uncomfortable sleep on the second night through fear of the neighbours getting through the door.
There's also a movement sensor in the room that flashes green even when the lights are off and you turn over in bed. Why was the movement sensor active with guests in the room?
The view was interesting. There's a large window at the back of the apartment, which is also the emergency exit. When you open the blind, the sight that awaits you is a lovely row of evaporators for air con units.

"Superb"
The apt. was very roomy and clean with all the conveniences. I liked the brightness and layout. The bathroom was great. Automatic skylights were a special feature. When we contacted the owners about some missing cutlery and the safe, they responded immediately. Location near the tube stop was great and even though we were way out in zone 4, getting downtown was a breeze.
What could be improved: The airflow was poor and stifling. Opening the skylights and using a fan only helped marginally.

"Well worth the money and highly recommend"
Minutes walk from Redbridge Underground. Decent neigbourhood. Very well equipped apartment with washer dryer, fan, fancy bathroom, iron and ironing board. Two large double beds. Spotlessly clean and modern fittings.
What could be improved: Kitchenette was amazing. Lots of cutlery - neat and clean. Only downside is no stove top. Microwave was not very efficient and took ages to cook.

We really liked the location near subway and that is why this is a great place to stay if you want to comfortably visit London city. Apartment was very clean and cosy. Overall this apartment has great value for money.
What could be improved: The only problem was the smoke alarm, but we were able to turn it off.

Literally off A406 and it's 5meters from the roundabout, cross the street and you are at the station, buss and underground, very convenient. Parking available as well. Very precisely explanation for access to the property. It was a great stay.
What could be improved: Not much not to like actually. You may find there is a small space for eating in the kitchen, a very small foldable table available and two stools but the equipment for cooking was great, modern, everything you need, fridge and freezer, microwave and cooker, washing machine and dryer. Also, because we were on the ground floor there wasn't much sunlight, like, no windows in the kitchen, but the lamps were more than enough. Overall we quite liked our stay and definitely will consider it again in the future. Thanks

"Fitted what we needed to watch tennis at Queen’s at the end of the M11"
Nearness to tube.
Self catering
What could be improved: Very hot without air con
Little trouble with parking to start with as non residents were using the slots.
