Kings Central Apartments in Kings Cross sits right on Pentonville Road, and honestly, the location immediately caught my attention. This apartment-style accommodation feels more like having your own place in London rather than staying in a typical hotel. The building has that modern, clean look without trying too hard to be flashy — which actually works perfectly for what it is.
The Neighborhood Advantage
You know what’s great about staying here? You’re literally minutes from Kings Cross St. Pancras station, which means the Eurostar, six Underground lines, and basically everywhere you want to go in London is right there. I mean, you can walk to Camden Market in about fifteen minutes, and Covent Garden is just a few Tube stops away. The area’s changed so much over the years — it used to be pretty rough, but now there’s this whole buzz around Kings Cross with new restaurants and that fantastic coal drops development.
Your Home Base
Each room comes with a proper kitchenette, and I actually appreciated having that option. Sometimes you just want to grab groceries from the Sainsbury’s down the road and make your own breakfast, especially if you’re staying for more than a couple of nights. The spaces are well-designed — not huge, but everything has its place. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay, which matters when you’re trying to plan your London adventures.
Daily Life Here
The three-star rating feels about right — this isn’t trying to be a fancy boutique hotel, and that’s totally fine. What you get is clean, functional, and surprisingly quiet considering you’re on a busy road. There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, with King’s Cross having so many food options now (and your own kitchen), you won’t miss it. The staff keeps things running smoothly without being overly formal about everything.

This place works best for people who want independence during their London stay. You’re not paying for services you won’t use, but you get the essentials done well — good location, reliable amenities, and the freedom to come and go as you please. The parking situation is typical London (meaning challenging), so I’d recommend using public transport anyway. For the price point and that unbeatable Kings Cross location, it’s a solid choice that lets you experience London like a temporary resident rather than just another tourist.

Antibacterial hand soap in bathroom and kitchen was a very nice touch. Host very pleasant.
What could be improved: My bathroom sink had a crack in it. I couldn't get TV to work. My host did come out to get it started but I still couldn't get on with it. I didn't have an address name or number to the property so by the time I called the host I had been past it several times

"GOOD location with all facilities you need for a LONDON short stay."
This apartment is at very perfect location. We want to see London our travel connection was from King Cross station so this apartment is in Perfect location. with the facilities we needed. There are few improvement I suggest. 1 In the wash room. Relocate the wall cabinet from just above the wash basin to the right just above the Commode flash tank. present location can lead to an accident head injury. 2 It was worm weather 31Deg C, the portable fan was not enough, window need to open, Due the which there was too much noise all the night. So may be batter to have exhaust fans in place which can improve the ventilation and regulate the temperature and solve the noise issue especially in summer.
What could be improved: 1 the mirror cabinet above the wash basin. not safe can lead to an accident /head injury. 2 Too much noise when window need to open in Summer addition of an exost fan. can improve ventilation and temperature

"Appartment in King's Cross"
Appartment was very clean and accès sécure and easy since there was no key but code Receiver thru our phone. Owners makes appartment available earlier as per our request, which was most appreciate. We highly recommend this appartment if you want to spend time on the Sector or getting closer to the train for airport.

"Conveniently located but lots of minuses (and couldn't sleep)"
Conveniently located nearby King's Cross (if that's where you want to stay, as it was my case). Good communication with the host.
What could be improved: The apartment is a bit run-down (painting missing in some points, bathroom mirror and lights in poor conditions), and the living room converted in a space with three extra beds (but I was traveling solo, so this for me was not only unnecessary, but a minus, as I couldn't use at all the living). The small-round-glass-table is too small to do anything with it (let alone, work). Second floor apartment with steep stairs (no earlier mention of this). The worst however is the road traffic, the people permanently camping by the building entrance (smoking all sort of things) and the noise coming from the pub downstairs: not only it doesn't make you feel safe, but it makes it hard to sleep. Unless I'm mistaken, none of this was mentioned in the apartment description (and this is an extra minus, as I would have not booked it, had I known). Also, no luggage storage service, but strict hotel-type check in&out rules (3 pm - 10 am).

"More than adequate for our needs….."
The location was good, easy walk to the tube/train KCSP station. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Climbing three LONG flights of stairs was a cardio burn. It was clean, compact, well-lit. No air condition; only fans which is fine for spring. No noise issues to speak of. Soap was not provided. We had to go buy the standard personal care products.
What could be improved: Three double flights of stairs. Soap not provided. No personnel available to speak to. We had to grab our own toilet paper from a supply pile in the upper hallway. There was ocasionallyva foul sewer smell ruminating from the bathroom. If I’d had a candle, I would have lit it in there while I was occupying the apartment.

"Cómodo pero ruidoso."
En general el apartamento muy cómodo y amplio y completo. Está ubicado un par de escaleras arriba .. pero no fue problema para nosotros. la ubicación muy buena!
What could be improved: Si bien la ubicación es ideal, fuimos de viernes a domingo y era mucho bullicio y gente por la calle borracha.. no pudimos dormir bien ninguna de las 2 noches .. hay bares cerca y la.Scala en frente. quizas no sea todas las noches así
