Overview
First Impressions
King’s Cross Deluxe Serviced Apartments sits right on York Way, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you’re trying to explore London. This four-star property has that modern serviced apartment vibe that feels more like having your own place than staying in a hotel. The building itself is pretty sleek — nothing too flashy, but you can tell they’ve put thought into the design.
The Space That Works
What really sold me on this place was stepping into my unit and realizing I actually had space to breathe. Each apartment comes with a proper kitchenette (not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation), which means you can actually cook if you want to save some money or just fancy a quiet night in. The living area flows nicely into the sleeping space, and there’s enough room to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout, which matters when you’re trying to get work done or stream something after a long day of sightseeing.
Location Perks
Being this close to King’s Cross station is genuinely brilliant — you’re talking about a two-minute walk to one of London’s major transport hubs. The Eurostar terminal is right there if you’re planning any European adventures, and the tube connections mean you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without much hassle. What I didn’t expect was how much the neighborhood itself has improved over the years. There’s a Waitrose practically next door, plus some decent coffee shops and casual dining spots that locals actually use.
Practical Stuff
The building offers secure parking, which is honestly a godsend if you’re driving in London — though I’d question why you’d want to drive here in the first place. Housekeeping comes regularly but isn’t intrusive, and the front desk staff know their stuff about the area. You know what’s nice? They don’t try to oversell you on services you don’t need, but they’re genuinely helpful when you ask for recommendations or directions.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but it gets the fundamentals right in a way that matters for real travelers. The combination of space, location, and that home-away-from-home feeling makes it work for both short visits and longer stays. Camden Market is a pleasant walk north, and you’re close enough to central London that nothing feels out of reach, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually relax when you get back. For the price point and what you get, it’s honestly pretty solid value in a city where accommodation costs can get ridiculous pretty quickly.

"better facilities and more affordable than they typical hotel."
The location was perfect for my business needs. Finding the key was the most difficult step but that took all of two minutes.

Conveniently located to access Kings cross station for commuting in and out of London, the apartment is functional, clean and comfortable.
What could be improved: the check in process was awful

"Very good"
Good location to King’s Cross
What could be improved: A lot of youths hang around the main entrance door during the evening which made it uncomfortable returning/leaving the property.

"Excellent location & facilities, check-in routine is inflexible."
Location was excellent, full facilities in the flat (washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer). Fans and umbrellas provided.
What could be improved: You're scheduled to a key pick-up time as the agent is waiting for you in the apartment. We were late due to a train delay so had to delay the key pickup for 20 minutes, but that meant the agent couldn't meet us for ~40 minutes due to having another check-in to complete. There are also a lot of pre check-in requirements: check the fine print section at the bottom of the booking page. The contact telephone number for the company is a pay number (0845) in case you need to talk to them.

"Very good"
It was a lovely, comfortable one bedroom apartment. The living room was spacious, the kitchen well equipped. Check in and check out we're very easy. It was in Britannia Street, very close about 5 mins walk to King's Cross Station and 10 mins walk to the British library. Very well located, near Tesco, Sainsbury local and St Pancras rail station. The damage deposit refund was posted the next day.
I highly recommend this apartment to the business or leisure traveller.
What could be improved: I would have liked a desk, but was able to use the dining table and would have preferred if the bedroom did not face the street.

"Very good"
The apartment was very spacious. The description for check-in was very detailed, and could take place outside business hours for self check-in.
What could be improved: The beds were a little too hard for me, and sometimes you hear noise from the neighbours or the street during the night.

"Comfortable enough for shorter stays"
The apartment in Britannia street is very good.
It has a lot of pros: is in a quieter street but really net King’s Cross, so it’s well connected. The bathroom is big an spacious. Any it has a lot of storage space.
It has a lot of good amenities like a complete kitchen, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. Also the heating worked perfectly.
Also the company renting it was really accommodating and responsive for any need.
What could be improved: I would say the apartment was overall comfortable. But since it is run by a company, there are small details that we missed from a real home where actual people have lived in. For example, there was no salt, peeper or oil for the kitchen. There was no wine glasses. There is an oven but no gloves or anything to take hot food out of it. The TV is in a weirdly low table so is very uncomfortable to watch sitting in the coach. There is no curtains in the bedroom, just a blackout screen, so during the day there is no privacy at all to get dress or be around the room, unless you want to be in complete darkness. And the bed is REALLY small for 2 people, and for no reason since the bedroom is big enough to accommodate something a little bit bigger.
I would say the apartment is ok for a couple of nights but for longer stays it starts to get uncomfortable.
