Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Huge 2 Bedrooms 3 Beds! Covent GDN 3 min to subway feels like stepping into someone’s well-appointed London flat — which, honestly, is exactly what you’re doing. The name might sound a bit enthusiastic, but it’s refreshingly honest about what you’re getting. This four-star apartment sits in a classic Victorian mansion block on a quiet street, and you know what? The three-minute walk to Holborn tube station claim is actually spot-on.

Location & Neighborhood

You’re planted right in the sweet spot between Covent Garden’s buzz and Bloomsbury’s quieter charm. I mean, you can literally hear the street performers from Covent Garden Market some evenings, but step outside and you’re on one of those lovely tree-lined streets that feels properly residential. The British Museum is a fifteen-minute stroll north, and if you’re into theater, you’re surrounded — the West End is practically on your doorstep, though London locals will tell you the real gems are the smaller venues tucked around Russell Square.

The Space

The two-bedroom setup works brilliantly for families or friends traveling together. There’s a proper kitchen with everything you actually need (not just a kettle and mini-fridge situation), which becomes essential when you realize how much London dining costs these days. The living area has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to settle in with a cup of tea after walking all over the city. Each room feels thoughtfully arranged rather than just thrown together for tourists.

Practical Perks

What really sold me was how smoothly everything worked. The wifi doesn’t cut out during video calls, the shower has proper pressure, and there are enough outlets for everyone’s devices — small things that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The building itself has that solid Victorian construction, so you’re not hearing every footstep from upstairs. Plus, there’s a Sainsbury’s Local around the corner and a proper laundrette two streets over, which becomes incredibly useful on longer stays.

Why Guests Love It

The 9.2 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be a fancy hotel with marble lobbies and doormen — it’s offering something better for many travelers: a genuine London living experience in an unbeatable location. You get the space to spread out, the freedom to eat breakfast in your pajamas, and the satisfaction of feeling like you’ve found a real neighborhood gem. For families especially, having that extra room and kitchen space transforms a London trip from exhausting to actually enjoyable.

Locals suggest to book apartments in London around South Bank for riverside dining, market stops, and easy city crossings.

"Great location"
Great location, very comfortable apartment
What could be improved: It was a bit too warm during our stay, but given that there was a heat wave, it was understandable. Fortunately, each room was equipped with fans and remote controls, which helped make things more comfortable.

"Wonderful Stay in Covent Garden"
We stayed at this lovely property in/near Covent Garden while travelling with my 3 teenage children. The apartment was indeed quite large especially for London and very bright and clean. The property manager emailed the key collection process which was fairly easy. Everything was well outlined and we communicated easily via Whatsup (Steve and Mike). One of the advantages of the property is that it has a lift (it's on the 4th floor) which is not that common in old buildings. Although the apt is on a busy street there is 2 security doors so we felt quite safe going in and out, and the location was perfect. There were 2 Underground stops very near the apartment and one went right into Heathrow Airport. Very Easy. It's also very easy walking distance to many of the must-see sites in London. The kitchen was very well equipped, but we never really needed to cook as there are about a thousand different restaurants/pubs within walking distance and several convenient stores/grocery stores for snacks (The kids especially liked the M&S Foods store nearby). It's in a very lively area so expect some noise at night. The smaller back bedroom though is pretty quiet. The pillows and mattresses were pretty comfortable. I have stayed with my kids in many different types/levels of accommodations- they liked this one very much. There was even a PlayStation in the living room. We had to give a security deposit when booking- it was refunded the day after we checked out. No issues with management.
What could be improved: The only issue we had during our stay was not the fault of the property, but there is no AC in the apt and there was a heat wave going on in London at the time (temp in the mid-90's). We tried to keep it as cool as possible with the fans that were provided (3 in the apartment) and keeping the blinds closed in the day, but it was still pretty warm. (AC is still pretty uncommon in the UK, so not anyone's fault, really)
