Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Harrow Bed&breakfast on Kings Way, you immediately get that cozy residential vibe — this isn’t some corporate chain trying to be everything to everyone. It’s tucked into a Victorian terrace that feels distinctly British, with the kind of charm that comes from being family-run rather than designed by committee. The front door practically invites you in, and honestly, that sets the tone for the whole experience.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about staying in Harrow — you’re close enough to central London that the Metropolitan line gets you to Baker Street in about 20 minutes, but you’re not paying West End prices for everything. The high street is just a short walk away, and there’s actually decent parking around here if you’re driving (good luck finding that in Zone 1). Plus, you’ve got Harrow School’s historic buildings nearby, which makes for pleasant evening strolls when you need to stretch your legs.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what you’d expect from a well-maintained three-star B&B — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged without any unnecessary fuss. The bed was properly firm, and I mean that in the best way possible after a long day of walking around London. What surprised me was how quiet it stays at night, considering you’re on a main road — the windows do their job well, and the heating actually works without making those annoying radiator noises all night.
Morning Routine
Breakfast happens in a proper dining room downstairs, not some cramped corner with a cereal dispenser. The full English is done right here — none of that pre-cooked nonsense you get at budget chains. You know what really impressed me? They actually ask how you like your eggs, and the toast comes out warm rather than sitting under heat lamps for who knows how long. Coffee’s decent too, though if you’re particular about your morning brew, there are some excellent cafes within walking distance.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
Look, this place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. The family running Harrow Bed&breakfast clearly understands that travelers want reliable basics done well — a good night’s sleep, proper breakfast, and friendly service without the fake enthusiasm. It’s the kind of spot where they remember your name if you stay more than one night, and they’ll give you actual useful directions rather than just pointing at a tourist map. For the price point and the genuine hospitality, it’s exactly what a neighborhood B&B should be.

"Great value for money"
The location was very convenient (4 minutes from the station), hosts very friendly and accommodating, the room was great value for money and spacious with a very comfy bed. The photos do it justice.
Very nice hot chocolate from the coffee machine in the kitchen.
What could be improved: The floor tiles were a bit squeaky and the fire alarm was audible from the room.

"Bed and DIY breakfast"
Friendly welcome
Comfortable bed
Spotlessly clean
Off road parking
Gorgeous hot chocolate
Very close to tube station (but no direct line to Wembley Park)
What could be improved: No drinks facilities in the bedroom. There was a communal kitchen for making drinks and own breakfast (food provided)

"Very good"
The staff was very nice and very helpful. It is close to the train station and Tesco is a 15min walk away.
What could be improved: The bathroom wasnt properly cleaned and the bed mattress was very soft. The bed itself is a bit smaller so there isnt that much space to move around with two people in it.

"Superb"
Clean and comfortable
What could be improved: I was told that I could use anything in the kitchen. But the items in the fridge like milk and butter weren't labelled fir visitor use, soI was unsure if I should use these.

"Lovely place to stay in good location only a few minutes walk to nearest tube station."
Big room, clean and comfortable, good location only a few minutes walk to the nearest tube station, perfect for Wembley Stadium. Good communication, very friendly and helpful. Loved the coffee machine in the kitchen.
What could be improved: Room a bit warm for me and I
didn't open windows as on ground floor. (Did turn heating off but room already very warm) but that's just my personal taste.

Perfect one night stay for attending a wedding nearby. Well stocked kitchen to help yourself to breakfast in the morning - coffee, juices, selection of cereal, some fruit and little cakes.
Friendly staff, everything kept clean, for the price can't go wrong really!

"Lovely and would recommend and book again"
Lovely place. All brand new and clean. Staff lovely. Kitchen well equipped with lots of food bits too. Only thing I would say is if youre advertising it with parking you need to do a propper drop kerb as driving up the pavement causes damage to the car
What could be improved: Parking

"We would definitely return!"
Excellent location, very friendly hosts. For what we wanted, which was a clean en-suite room for a one night stay after a family party, the accommodation was absolutely superb. The kitchen was stocked with water, juice, bread, cakes, tea, coffee and milk, though we did not use it. A great set up in a great location!
What could be improved: There were parking issues when we arrived. Luckily it was on a weekend so we were able to find a space on the road, a few houses away, which is reserved for permit holders during the week.

"Lovely stay at Harrow bed and breakfast."
Very happy with the hosts first and foremost, we contacted the owner to ask if we could arrive early and just park our car so we could go off into London for the day, the hosts said that was fine, communication was fab, so very accommodating and very friendly. I booked 2 double bedrooms with bathrooms, both very clean, I would say mirrors are needed in the rooms and small attention to detail with bathroom sink taps, bit rusty but apart from that clean. The accommodation was perfect location,3 minute walk to train station, couple of stops to Wembly which was perfect as we were going to a concert that evening. The kitchen was shared but we could help ourselves to cereals, toast, fruit etc, there was also bottled water in the fridge milk, the best thing was the coffee machine, we loved that, proper coffee, hot chocalate cappuccino, latte, lovey touch. So overall very happy with our stay and lovely hosts.
What could be improved: Nothing not to like
