Overview

First Impressions

GuestReady – Stunning Covent Garden 2BR Duplex sits right on Great Queen Street, and honestly, the location caught my attention before anything else. This four-star property gives you that perfect balance — you’re in the heart of London‘s theatre district without the tourist chaos directly outside your door. The duplex setup is actually pretty clever, giving you way more space than your typical London apartment.

The Space Itself

Walking into this place, you immediately notice how they’ve made the most of every square foot. The main living area flows naturally, and there’s actually a proper kitchen — not just some tiny kitchenette tucked in a corner. The duplex design means the bedrooms are upstairs, which creates this nice separation between living and sleeping spaces that you don’t always get in London rentals. Each room has decent natural light, which is honestly half the battle in central London.

Location & Getting Around

Great Queen Street is one of those streets that locals know but tourists often miss. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Covent Garden’s main piazza, but far enough away that you won’t hear street performers until 2 AM. Holborn tube station is closer than you’d think — about four minutes on foot — which connects you to the Central and Piccadilly lines. I mean, you can be in Oxford Circus in ten minutes or catch a show in the West End without even thinking about transport.

The Neighborhood Experience

What I really like about this area is how it shifts throughout the day. Mornings are pretty quiet with office workers grabbing coffee, but by evening, you’ve got theatre-goers and people heading to the pubs around Lincoln’s Inn Fields. There’s a Tesco Express literally around the corner, and if you want something more interesting, Borough Market is just a quick tube ride south. The Lamb & Flag pub — one of London’s oldest — is practically on your doorstep, which locals will tell you serves some of the best Sunday roasts in central London.

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it gives you the space and flexibility that most London hotels can’t match. You can actually cook a proper meal, spread out your stuff, and not feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. The duplex layout means couples or friends aren’t constantly on top of each other, and there’s enough parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in central London. With a 7.9 rating, it’s clearly doing something right — guests appreciate having a real base in London rather than just a place to sleep.

Early hotels booking in London secures West End tickets, rooftop cocktail nights, and small-group afternoon tea sessions.

"Great location in the heart of the city."
Location is great. The bath is huge and good for a soak after a long day!
What could be improved: We found it very hot and had to use the fans to keep cool. Wouldn’t recommend in high Summer.

"Great location and comfortable. Other than a few fix it bits the apartment was very well appointed."
Not applicable, not a hotel.
What could be improved: The apartment was great however there were a few things that needed attention: 1 The light switch near the front door is not held on by both screws and is insecure. 2 The tap in the bathroom needs tightening up, it swivels with the handle 3 The bottom shower door seal leaks 4 The curtains in the front bedroom cannot be opened These items aside the apartment was very well appointed and comfortable.

"Will definitely look next year for our annual Theatreland migration - 9.5/10 - thank you!"
Superb communication and instructions. Excellent for a family with the separate rooms and living area. Amazingly well equipped - though for a short stay we used very little. Location / Location / Location - amazing! 10-15 minutes walk to pretty much anywhere you would want to visit in this part of London - including nearly every theatre in Theatreland! Also (for us) with two older kids who like their space a bit more it was great value for money compared to hotel prices in the same area.
What could be improved: A little noisy at night due to the pubs nearby but not intolerable with the double glazing (and possibly as we normally live in the countryside, the same may be true of anywhere in a city centre.) A little maintenance needed - curtains / blinds, light switches and loose bathroom tap - but again would not deter us from returning. Not necessarily the property's responsibility, but the entrance hall & stairs were a little shabby and in no way a reflection of the high standard in the apartment.

"Very good"
Lovely flat right in the heart of Covent Garden (but still quiet).
What could be improved: only downside was the broken blind in one of the bedrooms. Hopefully this will have been fixed now though and to be fair I didn't alert the owners to it.

"Overall great stay for our family of three. Would recommend to anyone visiting London."
Great location for playing tourist in London. We walked to a lot of tourist spots and got the tube, from a very close tube station, to further away areas.

"Very nice apartment in a great location"
Excellent location, right in the theater district and Convent Garden, superb restaurants nearby, a lot of sights in walking distance, like British Museum, Oxford Street, China Town, Piccadilly Circus etc. Nice Apartment in a small town house. Duplex with two separate bedrooms. Big, well equipped kitchen. Quiet location, good heating.
What could be improved: Beds are a little small, so they might be too tiny for 4 grown-ups. Key pick-up and return might be complicated out of business hours of the key nest store

"Good location, quite small but might be all you need."
Location good as close to Covent Garden. Nice little kitchen. Clean and Tidy.
What could be improved: Only 1 set of keys, the lounge room was very small and the very steep steps led right up to the bathroom but I was scared of children falling down them at night if they went to the bathroom. Only 1 bathroom for 4 people is always challenging.

What could be improved: It was freezing when I arrived as the heating had been set to 5 degrees and took a while to heat up
