Overview
First Impressions
GuestReady – A charming home in Fulham Town sits on a quiet residential street that feels miles away from the tourist chaos, even though you’re still properly in London. Walking up to number 51 Crookham Road, I honestly thought I’d gotten the address wrong — it looks like any other Victorian terrace house until you realize that’s exactly the point. This four-star property isn’t trying to be a flashy hotel; it’s designed to feel like you’re staying at a well-connected friend’s place.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup really works here, and I mean that genuinely. You get a proper living space with a kitchen that’s actually functional — not one of those token hotel kitchenettes with a broken kettle. The main room has this lovely mix of modern comfort and period features that doesn’t feel forced or overly styled. There’s enough space to spread out your stuff without tripping over suitcases, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights.
The Fulham Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in proper residential London, where locals actually live and work. The Fulham Broadway tube station is close enough that you won’t be dragging luggage for ages, but far enough that you escape the constant tourist foot traffic. There’s a Sainsbury’s just around the corner (trust me, you’ll appreciate this), and the pubs nearby are the kind where you might actually strike up a conversation with someone who’s lived in the neighborhood for decades.
Practical Bits That Matter
The parking situation is about what you’d expect for London — street parking with permits and all that, so I’d honestly recommend just using the tube. What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, especially for somewhere this well-connected to central London. The whole building feels solid and well-maintained, not like some converted properties where you can hear every footstep upstairs. The Wi-Fi actually works properly too, which sounds basic but you know how hit-or-miss that can be in older London buildings.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the place if you want room service and a concierge — but that’s sort of missing the point. What you get instead is the experience of actually living in London for a bit, complete with grocery runs and figuring out which bus goes where. The 9-point rating makes sense when you consider what they’re offering: a genuine slice of London life without the inflated prices of central tourist areas. It’s particularly brilliant if you’re planning day trips around the city but want to come back somewhere that feels like home rather than just another hotel room.

"Wonderful house in the heart of Parsons Green."
A wonderful appartment house in the heart of Parson's Green. A brief walk from the District Line. Comfortable, clean and with lots of light. Real furniture and a lived in experience. Far superior to the usual, standardised, London fare.
What could be improved: Beds slightly small and some minor plumbing issues but for the rest fine.

"absolutely recommend - loved staying there. Will be back"
good size - very homely - great kitchen and utensils - close to all Fulham facilities and restaurants - near to Parsons Green underground.
What could be improved: nothing

"We greatly enjoyed our stay in this spacious, charming and bright duplex flat, with great facilities and a great locatio"
Charming, spacious, great location.
What could be improved: Small things; most importantly the curtains in the back terrace bedroom where ineffective. Plus couldn’t find a dish cloth, and the front bedroom would be better with the bed moved away from the wall, so you can access it from both sides.

Really well located, stylish apartment in a nice part of London. Well appointed and spacious. Particularly liked the roof terrace.

"The location suited my needs as I was visiting family. However, I did not sleep very well."
The location was very good. It was very easy to collect and return the keys. The living area and kitchen were very homely. The bathroom was good and the shower was very powerful. The apartment was warm with easy to use heating. Everything was clean
What could be improved: It was a very quiet street and as I was alone I felt a bit vulnerable walking home in the dark. There is a lot of steep stairs just to get in to property so luggage needs to be considered. The bedrooms were very basic and the beds were not very comfortable. The curtains in the bedroom did not fit windows and were very thin material so the light came in. There was no convenient place to plug in hairdryer and sit to do my hair. The blinds in the sitting room did not work.

"A favourite accomodation of our 6 week trip, enjoyed despite a terrible check-in experience."
Love the location; a very close 5 min walk to the tube station and in an attractive, safe-feeling part of London. The apartment was very spacious and a lovely home-away-from-home with everything we needed.
What could be improved: Especially when tired after a long flight, getting into the property was a complete nightmare. We had to track down a nearby shop to pick up a key and then found we had not yet been sent a correct key collection code from Guest Ready. It took us about an hour to sort it all out after much confusion and two phone calls (thankfully we did eventually get the number but were contemplating having to find alternative accomodation at last minute). The instructions were incomplete and buried in lengthy, repetitive messaging. We understand the need for thrid party property managers but are very unimpressed with Guest Ready and the Key Nest system, which relies heavily on technology and is not at all customer focused.
