First Impressions
Fantastic 4 bedroom apartment in Russell Square sits right on Tavistock Place, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you’re planning to explore central London. It’s one of those three-star places that doesn’t try to be fancy, but gets the basics really right. The building itself has that classic Georgian look you see all over Bloomsbury — nothing flashy, just solid and reliable.
The Space
The apartment actually feels more spacious than you’d expect from the photos. Four proper bedrooms mean you’re not fighting over who gets the decent bed, and there’s enough space that you won’t feel cramped even with a full group. The kitchen is probably the real winner here — it’s got everything you need to make proper meals instead of eating out for every single meal (which, let’s face it, gets expensive fast in London). I mean, you can actually cook here, not just heat up instant noodles.
Location & Neighborhood
Russell Square is literally a two-minute walk, which means you’ve got the Piccadilly line right there — that’s your direct shot to Heathrow without any fuss. But you know what I really love about this spot? You’re in proper Bloomsbury, surrounded by all those garden squares and Georgian terraces. The British Museum is close enough that you could pop over for an hour without it being a whole expedition. Plus, there’s a Waitrose nearby, so you can actually stock that kitchen with decent food.
What Works Well
The whole setup just makes sense for groups or families who want to stay together without breaking the bank. Each room has enough space and decent natural light — none of that cramped, windowless situation you sometimes get with London accommodations. The place feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I actually prefer. You get a proper sense of what it’s like to live in this part of London, even if it’s just for a few days.
Why Guests Love It
It’s the kind of place where you can spread out, make your own breakfast, and plan your day without feeling rushed to check out of communal spaces. The 7.7 rating makes sense — it delivers exactly what it promises without any surprises (good or bad). For the price point and location, you’re getting solid value, especially when you factor in how much you’ll save by being able to cook some of your own meals and having that tube connection right there.

The location is amazing! So close to Euston and Russell Square. A perfect place for a group to be based for a city visit. Amazing value.
What could be improved: There was nothing negative. This property is a little tired, but it is comfortable and in a great location. Maybe some better pillows?

The location was spot on, 10 min walk from train station The apartment was ideal with 3 spacious, comfortable rooms.

"Excellent location, slightly spartan accommodations; good value for the area; sized to fit a family."
Excellent location, easy access to Underground and close to amenities and attractions. Big enough for multiple adults and children. Comparably-sized lodging in the same neighborhood would cost 2-3 times more.
What could be improved: The sheets and towels were dirty when we arrived, though in fairness the host did accommodate early check-in so perhaps there was a mix-up with the cleaners. The issue was resolved promptly when we notified them. The bedrooms were very warm at night and I never managed to succeed at getting the heat turned down.
This isn't a negative, exactly, but I think it's worth noting that it's a basement unit. The basement unit on its own is not an issue, but the stairs from the street were slightly tricky to navigate with a large suitcase, and tricky in general for an elderly member of our family.

"A fantastic location and a comfortable stay"
The apartment was in a fantastic location with several tube and train stations very close by. There were supermarkets within a few blocks and many cafes, takeaways, pubs and restaurants.
It was an easy walk to many of the sights such as Oxford Street etc.
The apartment was fitted out with enough appliances and utensils to make it very liveable for a family of four and we were able to catch up on our laundry.
We were sent a number of instruction videos from the owner telling us how everything worked.
Communication with the owner was excellent and they responded very quickly.
What could be improved: There was no air conditioning in the apartment and not enough fans for each bedroom.

"February Stay"
Great location. Arrival was super easy and straight forward. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, our children are 17 and 20 so we need at least 3 bedrooms so this was great value for money (and an extra room!).

"Convenient and accessible property near King's Cross"
1 day prior arriving at the property, the property manager sent instructions how to find the keys, how to unlock the main door, and how to operate the appliances. They allowed us to check-in 1 hour earlier. Upon arrival we found they keys at they key storage. The property is on a convenient location near train station and bus stops. It was surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores. Appliances work properly and the kitchen has all the basic needs. It was an accessible property near King's Cross.
What could be improved: The heating was not working, one of the window glass pane was broken in the room near the main door, lack of privacy as there were no curtains in the window near the public area. Messaged the property manager and he sent 2 radiators/heaters. Still, it was cold at night since we were there in December.

"appartement spacieux et confortable, avec une bonne localisation !"
Localisation super, de grandes chambres avec des lits plutôt confortables, pas trop le bruit de la rue, le logement est à l'étage du bas. Tout était propre et fonctionnel et l'entrée se fait facilement grâce au contact de l'agence et leurs instructions. Je recommande !
What could be improved: un peu plus de papier toilettes, des sacs poubelles à mettre à disposition, peut-être un canapé de plus dans le salon pour plus de confort (un tout petit canapé pour 8 personnes c'est pas beaucoup...) sinon c'était très bien.

"Una mugre"
Nada, todo muy sucio, me agarró un ataque de asma por la suciedad, tuve que irme al siguiente día de haberlo alquilado. El propietario no quiere reembolsar los días no utilizados, por su política de no reembolso. Son estafadores. No es lo de la foto!
What could be improved: Toallas con pelos, mojadas, camas con sábanas sucias, colchón con olor, bolsas de basura al ingresar. Un desastre! Las instalaciones todas rotas.
