Fabulous 2 Bedroom Apartment by Holland Park
First Impressions
Fabulous 2 Bedroom Apartment by Holland Park sits in one of those tree-lined Kensington streets where you can actually hear birds chirping over the traffic. I’ll be honest — the building itself looks pretty typical from the outside, but step inside and you get that sense of space that’s honestly rare in London. The four-star setup here feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel experience.
Location & Getting Around
You’re basically wedged between Holland Park and Shepherd’s Bush, which means you get the best of both worlds without the tourist crowds. The Holland Park Avenue buses will get you into central London in about twenty minutes, and there’s a Tesco Express literally around the corner — you know, for those late-night snack runs. What I really appreciate is how you can walk to Holland Park’s peacocks and Japanese garden in five minutes, then grab dinner on Westfield’s restaurant level when you can’t be bothered to cook.
The Apartment Layout
The two-bedroom setup actually works well for families or couples traveling together who want some breathing room. Each bedroom has proper storage space (not those tiny hotel wardrobes), and the main living area doesn’t feel cramped even when everyone’s hanging out there. The kitchen is fully kitted out — I mean, you could actually cook a proper meal here if you wanted to, though honestly, with all the food options nearby, I mostly used it for morning coffee and keeping wine chilled.
What Works (and What Doesn’t)
The Wi-Fi is solid, which matters if you’re trying to work or stream something after a long day of sightseeing. The beds are comfortable enough, though the street-facing bedroom can get a bit noisy in the mornings — nothing major, just London being London. There’s no on-site restaurant or daily housekeeping like you’d get in a traditional hotel, but that’s sort of the point with apartment stays, isn’t it?
Why Guests Love It
What really sells this place is the neighborhood feel — you’re not stuck in touristy areas, but you’re not stranded either. The local pubs actually serve decent food, and there’s something satisfying about popping into the corner shop for milk like you live here. Plus, with two bedrooms and a proper living space, you’re not climbing over each other’s suitcases every morning, which honestly makes a bigger difference than you’d think when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
