F4 Greek Street by City Living London
First Impressions
F4 Greek Street by City Living London sits right in the heart of Soho, and honestly, the location is what grabbed me first. You’re literally on Greek Street — one of those narrow, buzzing streets where you can smell everything from dim sum to fresh pasta just walking to your front door. It’s a three-star place, but don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s basic.
Location & Neighborhood
Being in London‘s Soho means you’re surrounded by some of the city’s best food and nightlife, but here’s what I actually loved — you can walk to Leicester Square in about two minutes, yet Greek Street itself has this almost village-y feel during the day. There’s a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant called Pho literally next door, and if you’re into theater, you’re practically living in the West End. The Tube connections are brilliant too — Tottenham Court Road is right there.
The Apartment Experience
These aren’t hotel rooms in the traditional sense — you’re getting a proper serviced apartment with a full kitchen. My unit had everything I needed: decent-sized fridge, microwave, even a dishwasher (which, let’s be honest, I didn’t use much since I was eating out constantly). The room felt more like a London flat than a hotel stay, which was exactly what I wanted for a longer visit.
Practical Details
The building itself is pretty typical for this part of London — old, narrow, with stairs that definitely keep you fit. No lift, which might be rough if you’re hauling heavy luggage to the upper floors. But the trade-off is character — high ceilings, big windows that actually let in light, and you really feel like you’re living in historic Soho rather than some generic hotel bubble.
Why Guests Love It
What makes this place work is the combination of independence and location. You get your own space with proper cooking facilities (brilliant for breakfast or late-night snacks), but you’re also steps away from Borough Market energy and Soho’s incredible food scene. The 8.9 rating makes sense — it’s not trying to be fancy, just functional and perfectly positioned. For the price point in this area, you’re getting real value, especially if you plan to explore central London on foot rather than constantly taking cabs back to some distant hotel.
