Extended-Stay Studio, Work-Ready, Full Kitchen, City Access & Parking
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Extended-Stay Studio, Work-Ready, Full Kitchen, City Access & Parking, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a quiet residential building in Colindale. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are hiding in plain sight. This three-star setup turned out to be exactly what I needed — practical, well-thought-out, and surprisingly comfortable for a longer stay.
The Space That Works
The room is basically a mini-apartment that’s been designed by someone who actually understands what travelers need. The full kitchen isn’t just some tiny corner setup — we’re talking proper counter space, a decent-sized fridge, and all the basics to actually cook real meals. I mean, after a few days of eating out, being able to make breakfast and simple dinners was a game-changer for both my wallet and my energy levels.
What really impressed me was the work setup. The desk area feels intentional, not like an afterthought, with proper lighting and enough space to spread out a laptop and papers. The Wi-Fi held up well during video calls, which honestly can be hit-or-miss even at fancier places.
Location Reality Check
Colindale might not be the first neighborhood that comes to mind when you think London, but it’s actually pretty smart if you’re planning to explore beyond the tourist center. The Northern Line runs straight into central London — I could get to Camden in about 15 minutes, which beats dealing with traffic and parking headaches in Zone 1. Plus, there’s a Tesco just down the road, which became my best friend for stocking up on groceries.
The Practical Stuff
Having your own parking spot in London feels almost decadent — I didn’t realize how much stress I’d been carrying about street parking until I didn’t have to deal with it anymore. The building itself is quiet, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to work or just decompress after long days out in the city.
The cleaning standards are solid without being over-the-top. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and housekeeping was respectful of the fact that this is meant to be a temporary home, not just a hotel room you pass through.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy amenities or a trendy lobby scene. But if you need a reliable base for a week or more in London — whether for work, family visits, or just wanting to experience the city at a more reasonable pace — this place delivers on what actually matters. The combination of proper cooking facilities, workspace, and that golden parking situation makes it feel like you’ve found a little secret that the tourist crowds haven’t discovered yet.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
