It’s actually a proper three-bedroom house that feels like you’re staying at a mate’s place, which honestly makes the whole London experience way more authentic. The three-star rating doesn’t tell the full story here because you’re getting an entire house to yourself, not just a room.
The Space Itself
Once you’re inside, the layout really works for groups or families. Each bedroom has its own character — I mean, they’re not massive by London standards, but there’s actual space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The kitchen is probably the real winner here; it’s got everything you need to make breakfast or even a proper dinner, which saves you a fortune when you realize how much eating out costs in this city.
Location & Getting Around
You know what’s brilliant about staying in Islington? You’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’re not paying central London prices for accommodation. The Emirates Stadium really is just minutes away — perfect if you’re here for a match or even just want to do the stadium tour. Getting into central London is dead easy from here, and honestly, the neighborhood has this great mix of local pubs and cafés that tourists usually miss.
What Works (And What Doesn’t)
The house sleeps six comfortably, which makes it brilliant value when you split the cost. There’s decent Wi-Fi, the heating actually works (not always a given in London rentals), and you’ve got parking sorted — which anyone who’s driven in London will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The only thing I’d mention is that it’s a residential street, so don’t expect hotel-style services or someone at reception to solve your problems.

At the end of the day, this place nails what most people actually want from London accommodation — space, value, and a real neighborhood feel. The 8.4 rating makes sense because it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. You’re not getting fancy amenities or room service, but you are getting a proper London home base where you can actually relax after trudging around the city all day.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable.
What could be improved: The first evening because we did not find the key in the locked cabinet and we had to wait a boy who takes the keys to us.

Convenient location. Comfy beds.
Ben was very helpful and assisted with our questions and allowed us to drop off the luggage early.
What could be improved: Some small maintenance items would help a lot…. basin and kitchen sink plugs missing.

"Thoroughly enjoyable"
Great accommodation close to the Emirates stadium which was perfect for us! Nice and spacious and clean and a great price too.
What could be improved: We were thoroughly happy. If I had to be picky then maybe the post in the entrance could be cleared but I am aware that that's not just from this property.

"Shows promise but a lot of work to be done yet"
- Good location with easy public access and lots of dining options nearby.
- Friendly host.
- Seemed generally clean.
- Good storage for personal items (closets in every room)
- Will look nice once renovations are done.
What could be improved: - Had installed a new fridge but the old (broken) one was still standing in the middle of the opening to the kitchen area just taking up space.
- Some cabinets and closets were used to store things from renovation (packaging, an uninstalled lamp).
- Not enough of each type of tableware for the amount of people it allows, and it only had four chairs for the dining table.
- No extra bedsheet for the sleeping couch.
- TV was broken.
- Bathroom sometimes smelled a bit like sewage.

"TOP !!"
Nous venons de passer une semaine dans ce logement. L'emplacement est idéale. Nous avons pris la Travelcard 7 jours et nous avons pu nous déplacer dans Londres en métro et en bus sans difficultés. Un hôte, très réactif, présent et soucieux des difficultés rencontrées. C'est la première fois que nous voyageons sur Londres et nous avons aimé le logement atypique, les boulevards de Picadily circus à oxford circus décorés pour Noel, les musées et le Hyde Park le soir. On peut tout faire entre amis ou en famille. Mesdames si vous passez à Londres ne manquez pas Magic Mike Live et Messieurs le musée de la Formule 1, mais également en famille le musée des sciences et British Museum, Big ben, la grande roue, le tower bridge et tant d'autre chose que nous n'avons pas pas faire en seulement une semaine.
What could be improved: Rien, cependant petit conseil, ne venez surtout pas avec un véhicule qui vous pénaliserez plus qu'autre chose, avec que des parkings payants car les stationnements sont uniquement prévus pour les Londoniens.

"Very good"
VELIKOST BYTU, nástup kdykoliv,hodně míst na spaní ( devět lidí by tam mohlo přespat), velká kuchyň a jidelna. Lokalita výborná, nástup na ubytování i v noci
