Location & Getting Around
You’re in South Kensington here, which honestly feels like the sweet spot for exploring London. Hyde Park is literally a few minutes’ walk away — I mean, you can actually see the green from some spots around the property. The South Kensington tube station is close enough that you won’t be dragging your luggage for ages, and you’ve got the Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, and all those iconic spots basically on your doorstep.
The Space Itself
What really sets this place apart is that private patio — you know how rare outdoor space is in central London, right? The room itself feels more like an upscale apartment than a hotel stay, with enough space to actually unpack your things properly. There’s a decent kitchenette setup if you want to grab some groceries from the nearby Waitrose and have breakfast in, which honestly saves you quite a bit when London café prices hit your wallet.
The Neighborhood Experience
South Ken has this great mix where you’re surrounded by culture and history, but it doesn’t feel touristy in an overwhelming way. The property was cozy and was in the perfect location! It was easy to get into central London from there. It was a quiet, clean neighborhood. The property was very cozy and perfect for the 5 of us! There was just the right amount of space to accommodate for all of us for 3 nights!

"A perfect place to stay for enjoying everything London has to offer."
Handy location - close to tube, restaurants and galleries. Spacious and very clean. Lovely fluffy white towels and comfortable beds. Excellent kitchen facilities and great shower. Lovely host.

"Comfortable and cozy living in a great location."
The apartment is in a great location just a few minutes from the subway. The neighborhood is very nice. Everything you need is nearby.
The apartment is tastefully and comfortably furnished. It is located in the basement of the building, but that doesn't matter at all. Maybe it's even quieter that way.
The beds are comfortable, the apartment is cozy, and the kitchen is well-equipped. We appreciated the filter coffee maker. The heating works great.
What could be improved: I can't think of anything like that.

"Stay here, stay here...!!"
Everything was perfect.
But the little things were big gestures; my teens loved the assorted cereals. And the lightstrings at the patio, may have looked like a small touch. But they give an extra sphere to the (warm) evening.
It all just felt so welcoming!
The location was perfect to us, having bikes at a stonethrow distance was so much fun. It made us feel like locals again (I worked down Sloane Sq 25 years ago as a young girl).
The Natural Hisory museum was just a big block away (nice when the rain started pooring)
We would definitely be staying here again!
What could be improved: Actually nothing.

"Great in parts."
The location was really great, near a tube station, plenty of useful shops and museums. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a decent sized dining table and a large TV.
What could be improved: The access to the apartment was scruffy with rubbish bags all along the walkway. The kitchen lacked many things, eg an oven dish, a jug, small dishes for nuts, butter etc etc, no SHARP knives (there were plenty of blunt ones). All pans were scratched despite the excellent range of non stick utensils. The instructions for the coffee machine were out of date and we could not use the new one. We assumed it needed filter papers? Fortunately there was a cafetière. The apartment was dark as it was a basement; though not a problem in winter I really think it is a stretch to call this apartment ‘elegant’. The furniture and decor certainly cannot be described thus.
Finally the cleaners arrived at 10.30 when check out was 11.00. They waited outside but we had to rush and it was awkward. Especially annoying since we were not able to access the property 30 minutes early on check in as requested.

"Gute Lage"
Das Apartment hat eine wirklich tolle Lage, nur 5 Fußminuten von der Tube Gloucester Road und ebenfalls nur einige Minuten zu Fuß zum Hyde Park. Fußläufig befinden ein Express-Supermarkt, eine Bäckerei und viele schöne Cafés, in denen man super frühstücken kann. Es ist ein guter Stützpunkt für Ausflüge durch die Stadt.
Das Apartment selbst liegt im Souterrain, was für uns aus der Beschreibung nicht richtig hervorging. Es ist aber trotzdem hell genug. Das Apartment ist ansprechend eingerichtet und die Größe ist für ein paar Tage mit 4-5 Personen auch gut.
Debb, die Gastgeberin, war jederzeit gut zu erreichen.
What could be improved: Im vorderen Schlafzimmer ist es durch den Verkehr der Gloucester Road ganz schön laut. Das Klappsofa im Wohnzimmer ist zum Schlafen nicht für große Menschen geeignet. Im Bad roch es etwas muffig (aber wer ist schon den ganzen Tag im Bad).

"Very good"
L'appartement est tres bien équipé et joliment décoré. Il est bien situé dans Kensington, pas très loin de High Park et du musée d'histoire naturelle et à côté d'une rue commerçante. Il manquait des verres à notre arrivée mais l'hôte a été réactive.
What could be improved: L'appartement est situé au sous sol ce qui n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce. La photo donne l'impression d'un appartement très lumineux hors il est assez sombre. La salle de bain est assez désuète.

مستوى النظافة والترتيب والخدمات المقدمة من المضيف والموقع والتجاوب السريع من المضيفين كان مثالي
What could be improved: الشقة تعتبر صغيرة جداً مقابل السعر و تتسع لعدد 4 اشخاص بحد اقصى بالاضافة لعدم وجود مساحة كافية داخل غرف النوم لوضع الامتعة والملابس وايضا البلكونة تعتبر مغلقة لا توجد اي اطلالة
والاهم من ذلك انها تقع في البدروم ولا يوجد مصعد ولا يوجد من يساعد في حمل الامتعة للاعلى مع الاسف.

"Top-Wahl für Familien und Gäste, die eine saubere Wohnung in zentraler Lage suchen."
Unser Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die fantastische Lage – von hier aus konnten wir viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem erreichen und hatten dennoch eine ruhige Umgebung. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend; sie haben immer sehr schnell auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert, was die Organisation und den Check-in deutlich erleichtert hat. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr sauber, gut gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und konnten uns gut entspannen.
What could be improved: Es ist wichtig zu wissen, dass es sich um eine Souterrainwohnung handelt. Dadurch ist sie etwas dunkler, was nicht jedem gefällt. Außerdem ist die Größe der Wohnung für sechs Erwachsene eher knapp bemessen – für Familien mit Kindern ist sie jedoch gut geeignet. Wer also mit einer größeren Gruppe reist, sollte dies berücksichtigen.
