Honestly, when I first walked into Elegant 2BR flat on 20th floor near many attractions, the views were what hit me immediately. You’re up on the twentieth floor looking out over London, and it’s quite something — especially if you get lucky with the weather. The place itself feels modern and clean, though I wouldn’t call it fancy. It’s more like a well-maintained apartment that someone actually cares about.

The Space

The two-bedroom setup works really well if you’re traveling with family or friends. Each three-star room has decent space, and you’re not bumping into each other constantly like you would in most hotel rooms. The kitchen is surprisingly functional — I mean, you can actually cook a proper meal here if you want to save some money on London’s restaurant prices. The living area has this nice open feel, probably helped by those floor-to-ceiling windows.

Location & Getting Around

Stratford’s changed so much since the Olympics, and staying here puts you right in the middle of that transformation. The Westfield shopping center is basically on your doorstep — sometimes that’s great, sometimes it’s a bit much with all the crowds. But you know what’s actually brilliant? The transport connections are fantastic. You’ve got the Central line, Jubilee line, and the Overground all within walking distance, so getting into central London takes maybe 20 minutes.

What Works (and What Doesn’t)

The building itself feels secure, and there’s parking available if you’re driving — which honestly surprised me for this part of London. The lifts are modern and quick, which matters when you’re on the twentieth floor. I will say the area can feel a bit corporate and new-build-y, especially compared to more traditional London neighborhoods. But if you’re here to see the sights and want somewhere comfortable to crash, it does the job well.

Why Guests Love It

What I keep coming back to is the value proposition here. You’re getting proper apartment-style living with those views, plus you’re genuinely close to major attractions — the Olympic Park, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and you can walk to the ArcelorMittal Orbit if that’s your thing. The host seems responsive, and the whole booking process was straightforward. It’s not the most characterful place you’ll ever stay in London, but sometimes you just want somewhere clean, spacious, and well-connected — and this ticks all those boxes without breaking the bank.

"Great apartment in a great location."
Great location, 5 mins walk to bars, restaurants and large shopping centre. 20 mins walk to ABBA Voyage. Apartment is large and had everything we needed.
What could be improved: Having to pick up the keys at another location. The property would benefit from black out blinds.

I loved the layout of the property and how everything was set out it was so convenient to the main centre

"Perfectly located, tastefully decorated apartment close to the Westfield shopping centre and LAC"
Location fantastic, lovely and quiet considering where it was.
What could be improved: Only two pillows per bed was a little on the light side. Also the window in one of the rooms was broken and stuck down with tape. This kept flapping all night which led to a disturbed nights sleep, not great when we were there for a swim event at the LAC.

The staff and apartment itself were lovely. But if we had known that we couldn't have the tv volume above 8 during the day or night, as they have neighbours that work. Therefore, we received a noise warning through text message. So I contacted the owner to ask what the message was about? That's when I was told about other people living in the block that work? I was watching tv with my family... Also when booking I was lead to believe there was parking, unfortunately the parking is based in the shopping centre next door charging £25 a day. We also had to go to another hotel 1st to collect the keys, no parking and on a main road , hard to find. Wheelchair access around the carpark and shopping centre is terrible. Plus side the apartment is beautiful, and staff and owners are helpful

"We did not end up staying for unforeseen circumstances."
What could be improved: A little more heads up on the reason for accommodation is unavailable. The automated messages were not helpful, and not the hosts fault. While the hosts did offer to try find alternative accommodation we had to find our own as airbeds were offered but no discount for the inconvenience. This is a rare occurrence as this is an unforeseen circumstance. the process to find alternative accommodation and communication can be improved and hope the host understands this.
